“Our wedding cake was the right flavor, but the wrong color. Lol.During the cake tasting and ordering we got a pink champagne cake and I repeated that I also want the cake to be pink... I also asked for a design and they had me email the picture to them so they could go off the picture for the design and would ONLY use the design not the whole cake concept of the picture. There was some back and forth clarifying design and size... but told them repeatedly JUST the design on the side of the pictured cake not the whole cake. Our cake was also smaller than the pictured one. They also helped with verifying the price the design would be on the cake. Noting that we only wanted the design and not the color or style in the picture.Lady suggested a silver dusting, or some sort of dusting that was really pretty and we both agreed it would look great with the pink.On the wedding weekend..My husband and his best man picked up the cake and transported it 2.5 hours to the wedding destination. I opened the box and it was white...I called and told them it was supposed to be pink. They asked what they could do, in a very nonchalant way, and they had gone off the color in the picture I sent. I told them the picture was only for the design, not the color as we had told the lady multiple times the cake was supposed to be pink.They said there was nothing they could do in just a few hours before the wedding... so we had a delicious cake but wrong color... ?‍♀️Husband also at fault for not double checking and just grabbing the cake and heading out.VERIFY COLOR every day until you have your cake.“

“Our whole fifth grade class showed up at once to celebrate after a school play. We had a fun time, the ice cream was delicious and the people serving us were super great. They were very patient with all the kids, too!Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere was perfect for a crowd of excited kids!“

“Cute bakery/coffee shop. The food and espresso drinks were great. The gluten-free bundt was awesome and I appreciate they had good gluten-free options. The burrito was also really good. The seating seemed pretty limited, but it's a small space so I'm not sure they could do anything differently. My only issue with the experience was hair in the burrito wrapping and a hair on my bundt cake. We also saw a man pull a long hair out of his breakfast sandwich.“

“I'm very happy to have discovered a new favorite spot in portland for a quick breakfast, delicious baked goods, and coffee. The business owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, and all of the employees are lovely. Very cute atmosphere, feels like a little Parisian cafe on Valentine's Day. The bathroom is very quirky and a big homage to Drew Barrymore. I also love how affordable everything is here especially these days when it's hard to find breakfast for under $12. The breakfast sandwich is only $7 and it's a very generous size. They have a wide selection of baked goods and a variety to choose from that changes each day. Everything I've tried from the pastry selection was fresh and delicious. The coffee is good too. This is becoming a regular spot for me!“

“Spacious cafe with delicious foods including some pretty unique sweets! Really liked the Philly cake with the limited time raspberry filling. Great service. A good amount of seating. Some folks were working here on their computers, so this seems like a good study/work cafe. An easy 5/5.“

“Hands down the best cake and decorating in Oregon. We had three cake images and a vision that we shared with Sugar Cubes and they did not disappoint. The cake was gorgeous and all three tiers were an amazing selection of flavors. Cake was super moist and beautiful. Thank you for making my daughter's day perfect.“

“I wish I could give more stars! I called in my order very short notice and was met with nothing but kindness. Not only was the cake absolutely delicious and absolutely beautiful! They ran into an issue with sunflowers not getting delivered in time. Nothing they could have planned for but she reached out and helped me make sure I got a beautiful cake. She went the extra mile to make the cake was what I had envisioned. A while I waited in the coffee shop, the wonderful and sweet barista give me a coffee on the house while I waited.“

“Traveling up to Portland for work and stumbled upon this place far too early in the morning without having any coffee. Upon entering, the atmosphere is quiet, laid-back, and the staff is super friendly and down to earth. The pastries looked amazing, but I fought off the urge to buy every piece of sugar and got the best cup of coffee I've had in a long time (lavender breve). It made coffee bought the previous morning taste like an ashtray....no comparison. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants quality coffee, great service, beautiful looking baked goods, and a quiet atmosphere in the middle of the city.“

“Best cupcakes in SE Portland.To the owners, thank you for such an awesome cake shop. One little request. Please make some non-vegan GF cupcakes. And only super fine oat flour if possible. I've found the only good wheat substitute in baking is oat flour. It's so soft and tender and aside from color is very similar to wheat. Rice bases always taste like mochi. Especially those GF donuts people make. Anyway, give it a try sometime. I think you could start a GF revolution. ❤️“

“My first time going here was to pick up some cupcakes for an employees birthday. They were super helpful explaining how to go about picking the flavors you wanted. The best thing was the quality of the cupcakes though. Everyone loved the flavors. They have a ton of variety. The cupcakes are very moist ? I would highly recommend. Immediate pick up for 2 dozen is super nice too!!“

“I have been coming here with my daughter for a few years. The minis are so perfect for kids parties and tea parties. The Suit & Tie has been an all time love of mine for awhile. I value the owner and the bakers/workers so much- thanks for the great cupcakes !“

“Gluten free cupcakes, cakes cheese cakes, and more can be ordered in gluten free but there's a few you can pick up on a daily. The ones I tried had grate taste, velvety. Can't wait to go back and for the price it's a nice treat for yourself. Yummy ?Kid-friendliness: Lots of 70's & 80's pictures“
