It's been a while since we've been to The Voo. We used to play trivia so went there weekly. One of the last times we went the food was awful. It was so awful I can remember it years later- I got the special where they were out of the potatoes and subbed plain rice, and the fresh veggies were canned green beans. No joke, we still talk about the nastiest green beans ever made. They were constantly out of things too. We finally just stopped going. I'm happy to say that we went again for trivia recently, and something changed with the food for the better. The fries were really delicious, and I am not a huge fry person.I also loved the fry sauce, which I usually don't touch. The patty melt was good, and the prices were reasonable. I was really happy to see how much the food had improved. I hope the positive improvements stay/continue!

The food was ok but felt bad for the bartender. Understaffed. We waited 30 minutes and was ready to walk out. Another customer flagged down the cook for us. Sadly if this continues, they will see a decline in business.Vegetarian options: No gluten free options

As most places are, they are short stagged for the customers, be prepared to be patient. We have been there 4 times and the one server does her best but it's hard to juggle the bar and all the tables alone. Always friendly and food is good.

My daughter and I drove in from junction city to try the voo. My daughter was craving a good burger. We went in and sat down at a table for almost 10 minutes with no help, before we decided to leave. There were 3 women working at the bar just staring at us. It made us very uncomfortable.
