Stopped at Hale's today for lunch. Great meal as always, I went with the Western Burger. The service was outstanding and portions are large. We don't get to Hermiston often but when we do, it's Hale's.
This is a cool restaurant, but figure a while to get your food. I’m not sure if it’s cause I was dining alone or not but my order didn’t get taken for over 15 minutes. Poor waitresses seem very spread thin as far as not enough help. Sitting by the kitchen both times, I could hear the cooks yelling at them. Holy PORTIONS. Your standard mom and pop cafe style food, huge menu and you will NOT go hungry. What stood out was the service, not only from our server but anyone who passed us by while waiting for a table, all the way to getting the check. Our server was very attentive and even made sure our food was perfect to order before served. Very cute western style decor. We will definitely be returning.
