Blandest Mac Salad I've ever had. These people have never heard of seasoning.

Small place, big food!Spicy wings were good: moist, very big & meaty.Hurricane(I think that's what it was called) Salmon was great: moist, tender, lightly seared, yummy sauce (even substituting with the Wasabi sauce).Kahlua pork tasted great, was moist and lightly grilled. Mac salad was also on point - right amount of mayo, seasoning, and the first time I've seen it with a small amount of peas - yum! Will definitely be back.

I love this spot! I always stop here when I’m in the Portland area because I love Hawaiian food so much. My favorite here is the 808 fried chicken. The portions are plentiful and the quality is great!

Good food... I had the loco moco. Spouse had the tofu poke.A slightly fancier tasting loco moco than I've had before... I liked it.The seasonings on the poke were just right, I'll try a fish version in the future. Nice to see a few vegetarian items on the menu.Mac salad was good.Seating is good and they have a heated patio which we might try in the future.Vegetarian options: One main course (eggplant). The tofu poke was tasty. A few others.Parking: The marking on the parking is a bit strange. Spots are marked where nobody seems to park, kind of in the middle. We backed in along the fence. Could be tricky if they get real busy.

Best shoyu chicken I’ve ever had. Wish they’d put it on a sandwich. I do like that you can sub slaw in for the rice. My favorite order is the shoyu chicken plate with slaw and Mac salad. Pinoy pork belly is also very good, as are the crispy won tons. My boyfriend likes to order the loco moco, which is too heavy for me but very tasty nonetheless. This place is better than most of the plate lunch places we went to on Maui.

First time here and ordered the Shoyu Chicken with Habanero Teriyaki. It was very good. Just wanted to thank 808 Grinds for the love you showed me on Veterans Day. Much love!!!! Will definitely be back.

Ordered takeout from 808 Grinds on 10/27 via UberEats with family that was visiting. This was my first time trying the food from here after wanting to for some time. Overall, it honestly left me wanting...maybe it's because of what I ordered, so it could be worth another try in person. The Musubi was standard tastiness and the Mac Salad was great! Presentation was really nice too. My partner tried Da Combo with Kalua Pork & Shoyu Chicken, while I tried their Salmon Teriyaki. We both agreed the Kalua Pork was overly salted and the Salmon had an overly fishy flavor. I've had both of better quality when I lived in Honolulu, so it's not like this was my first experience with the specific dishes.Would like to try the Beaverton location in the future and try something different.

Enjoy a variety of plate dishes that give you a Hawaiian feel. He seems to be particular about meat. There was a wide variety of sauces, and I was able to choose from three types. The taste of pulled pork is good.

Everything from this restaurant has been excellent. My favorite is their hurricane salmon but the pork, chicken and rice are excellent too. They also have really good poki but it doesn't come with rice so you gotta order it on the side. I go here all the time for lunch since i work near there. Ordering online has been great too and the service is excellent. Try the habanero teriyaki sauce on the rice its great. One of the best Hawaiian bbq places.

Ate here for the first time tonight. We were impressed with the friendly and welcoming greeting and lots of smiles and laughter. We tried the spicy chicken and loco moco and loved them both. The spicy chicken was sufficiently spicy and full of flavor. The loco moco was the traditional Hawaiian dish and delicious. We can't believe we haven't tried this place before. We will definitely be back soon. Don't forget to try their side sauces!

Found this cute and amazing Hawaiian place on our way back home from Cornelius. We had to get a bunch of different things to try and even got two deserts after everything because it was so delicious! Would definitely come back, bummed out it's not closer to home because we would come here more often. Everything came out super quickly and the staff was very nice and helpful with giving recommendations.

Wow! Our first visit to 808 Grinders was delicious. We got the Shoyu Chicken & the Salmon Burger. The chicken was flavored perfectly - not too much sauce, not too sweet. The salmon burger had a nice hint of heat. There are so many other menu items we want to try now.
