As already stated in another review, there's no vegan options. Why does this place even exist? Hillsboro needs better food.

I love love love the bread here, especially the Sour Rye. I'm a fan of sourdough and Rye bread, so finding one loaf (to rule them all) with both was heavenly! The other breads (sourdough, sourdough potato, etc.) are good too, and the Friday Clam Chowder! Love the veggie quiche, and the veggie friendly monthly special sandwiches. Basically I've loved everything I've ordered here.Vegetarian options: Veggie sandwiches, Wed Vegan Soup option.

Overpriced for the quality. It's a cute spot but for the same price I'd opt for a genuinely french patisserie or an Oyatsupan style Asian bakery.

Grand Central bakery is an amazing small coffee shop chain. Yesterday I got their seasonal honey latte and a vegetarian quiche, and both were absolutely delicious! They also make some really good breakfast sandwiches. I've had in the past past and a whole assortment of tasty pastries. I would categorize their pastries as some of the most hearty pastries around.

I was very disappointed with the sourdough bread, it's basically white bread that has soured with no flavor at all ?.Was really looking forward to some good sourdough.

I love the new Grand Central location in downtown Hillsboro! It's conveniently located near the max and the main drag with shops. Very walkable. Breakfast is great here - I love their seasonal quiches or grabbing a pastry. Coffees are good and they often have out samples. For the drip coffee drinkers, they are one of the few places that I know of that do free refills.

No vegan options, can't go there as a group for breakfast. Felt very 1994 in there, but on par for Hillsboro.
