Honestly it felt run down.The food was ok. But sorta expensive.The menu has badly printed photos.. not sure if was worth it.I ordered Dynamite expecting the normal rice dish with seafood on top and got some weird baked mussels? It wasn't what I was expecting and didn't smell good.... I didn't even take a picture I just scraped at the shells and waited for my bill. Too much of a cowardly millennial to voice my distaste.

Took my mother in law to Sushi & Maki for lunch last week. We arrived just as they opened and were served right away.We ordered California Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll & Tempura Shrimp Roll and green tea.All the sushi was prepared artfully and the sushi and tea was really tasty.Parking: The restaurant shares parking with many other restaurants and businesses so it can be hard to find a close parking spot.Mom uses a wheel chair and the ramp was very close to the door to the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The staff was able to remove 1 chair at the table so Mom could stay in her wheelchair to eat.The front door and the restroom are a tiger squeeze but we were able to get in & out.

Owners will not allow delivery drivers to use the bathroom. They have no respect for drivers who are helping them serve customers. I will no longer be picking up from this location.To be clear, I was very polite and always work in clean clothes as I realize I wouldn't want a dirty person delivering my food. Regardless we are humans who deserve the dignity of a quick bathroom break while serving our community.

Somewhere along the way they have lost their waySeldom is it that something isn't wrong with the order. Missing ingredients and inconsistent product. Not sure if they even know what sushi actually is anymore. Sushi denotes the rice flavored with sushi vinegar, it's just plain rice half of the time. And the miniscule little dot of rice to go with the nigiri might as well just be sashimi.It's not that hard folks. But apparently it is for you. Consistent portions and product would be nice. Even better if you would just read your own menu and make them as stated there. Pathetic!

This restaurant makes the best sushi around. Our orders are always fresh and flavorful, including non-sushi dishes like Tofu and Veggies, served sizzling. The service is excellent too. We're always excited to return.

Love finding these little gems off the beaten path. Located in the Cornell Square Shopping Mall @ the corner of NE 25th Ave & NE Cornell Rd, it was definitely worth the trip to Hillsboro. With a huge selection of sushi rolls along with a variety entrees to choose from, plan to make several trips to fully enjoy what this place has to offer. Service ✅, Food✅, Atmosphere ✅. Mahalo Sushi & Maki Hillsboro! ??

We absolutely love this place. We try to make it here once a week whenever we can. My partner always orders at least two servings of the Salmon Tataki. I like to rotate through all the Bento options, especially the assorted tempura and chicken Teriyaki. The dynamite is our favorite appetizer, and have recently been enjoying the Fire Viking. The Miso soup has also never failed us, even changing my partners mind on actually liking miso at all!We personally love the atmosphere and service here. Our food has never taken long, and have never had issues with not getting our food. Most recent "issue" we had is that they brought us 2 orders of Gyoza instead of 1, so we enjoyed the second serving but then wouldn't let us pay for it! We would have been happy to, given that we ate it all and thoroughly enjoyed it, but they insisted it was on the house.All in all, we absolutely love this place and wish it all the best. We will be back soon!!

My favorite place for sushi and Japanese cuisine! I've never had anything at this place that wasn't delicious. The prices are pretty reasonable too.Vegetarian options: They have veggie rolls and tempura vegetables. Maybe more, but those are the two that I've had. Both were pretty good.Kid-friendliness: There are always kids there. It's a family friendly atmosphere.Parking: It gets busy around dinner time, but there's plenty of parking spaces nearby.
