Adorable, small gift shop in downtown Hillsboro. I was shopping nearby today in search of some artisan chocolates and another merchant directed me to The Artful Garden. Cute place packed full of unique gifts...great Christmas gift potential: ornaments, jewelry, sweets, art. As for the chocolates, they've got a decent sized selection displayed near the back of the store. I needed 8 boxes for gifts, and not being a big lover of chocolates myself, I let the very sweet and helpful employee make the selections for me. They have a variety of box sizes based off of weight, and pretty good pricing in my opinion. Sweet place with great customer service! :)

I love this store! It may be small, but it's packed full of lots of different art and gifts made by local artists. I always find something new. They have so many different types of items, ranging from home goods, jewelry, little sculptures, gnome themed decorations, cards, soap, etc. There's even a chocolate and sweets counter in the back. I love stopping by here when I have some time to kill or I am looking for a gift. Definitely check them out if you find yourself in downtown Hillsboro!

If you are mobility-impaired, bring an abled friend to roam the shop for you! Harry Potter n international candy section. Pricey!
