Sadly, no more. I don't know what's been going on in Hillsboro since the pandemic, but Indian places west of Cornelius Pass are dropping like flies. Maharaja, Southern Spice, and now Virundhu. This one's soon to be Top Burmesese.

Edit (1day later): I wrote to the restaurant, and had an honest conversation with the manager, and sorted out the issue.Virindhu, like many other small business had a hard time during the pandemic. It’s refreshing to see an responsive and optimistic management team.Everyone has an occasional bad day at work, maybe yesterday was theirs. I wish them them the best, and will definitely come back to try their food again.———I’ve been a long time visitor of Virindhu and used to love their food. Sad to see the quality has gone absolutely south. The worst from our dinner today was the Chicken Masakali. The meat looked stale, overly colored and tasted bad. Also our order of chappatis was “upgraded” (without communicating back to us) to what seemed like Costco Naans, which was rubbery and inedible.Worst of all, they don’t pick up calls - how do you even communicate back to them if something is bad?I will not be returning to Virindhu, and would not recommend to anyone.

As a couple who grew up in South East Asia, Indian food is a huge staple, from Roti Canai to Dosai. So my wife and I were super excited to find this place. We got it to go and the staff were super friendly when we got there ever when we had to split the charges between 2 gift cards. My Wife chose the butter chicken and garlic naan. The buttery chicken was rich and flavorful and the garlic naan was the perfect balance of crisp exterior and chewy interior. I ordered the Parotta, which if I'm being honest was not what I had expected. From my own experience, parotta and roti canai are similar (but that could be my own misunderstanding), and that was what I was expecting. It was still delicious and the portions were enough for us to split between 2 days.

Great food, and I mean really great food. One of the best Indian restaurants I've been too, and I've been to Michelin Indian 8n Europe. Everything is fresh, warm, and relatively fast.

Our friend recommended this place. Ordered mutton kottu porata. Mutton was a disaster and had a bad smell. had to pick the mutton away and try to finish the parata.still couldn’t complete. Had to throw to trash.

Was told it would be a 5 minute wait 4 different times. Considering it was a 20 minute wait And there were no other customers i wasn't thrilled. Time is money...

Great quality food, their butter chicken is so delicious. I've tried Goat, lamb, and more and everything is tender and flavorful!

They do south Indian food well but order north Indian food if you'd like to be disappointed.

Take out, was so easy to place and pick up my order, and no line tonight. The food was the best part though it was so flavorful and delicious. Would have loved it if our order came with some bread to soak up the leftover sauce. Yumm!

We went here for lunch and ordered a couple masala dosas and a couple uttapams. The Uttapams were good but the dosa potatoes were very salty.

Was told that it's south Indian, but did not get that taste. Bought chicken briyani..chicken was not mixed well with briyani..chicken did not have any taste..Omlete was good, rasam and raits was good.

This place has never disappointed even trying something new each time with no idea what it is! I would share a photo if I actually thought about taking one before digging in. I rate this 11 out of 10 for Indian food.

Honestly rombo Edhirparthen! Huge Disappointment. When you have a tag saying "South Indian" cmon..nothing like South indian..so what happened was , I researched for a good South Indian Place , coz we were traveling to Oregon. So on the way to the restaurant I had called these guys for a take out for Ambur Biriyani..this was done 50 minutes before the closing time..they had ample time to make it ready..we reached...these guys hadn't even done a thing. Imagine! Only made me think, what was the dedication right there? It was passed closing time now, had to wait another 20-30 mts for the food , which was a disappointment. The coffee was good.

My husband and I enjoy Indian food because it is naturally gluten free. We absolutely enjoyed the foods here! We had tikka Masala and we tried dosai for the first time! The service is excellent. Next time we are in the area, we'll come back!
