repeated poor experiences. the staff does a poor job of keeping counter seats open. left counter always full of trays, unusable. Two chumps tied up five counter seats today. Staff oblivious. Food is on par with Denny’s at twice the cost.

I've wanted to try Bette's for quite some time, so I decided to go to Hood River and see what the hype was about with these cinnamon rolls.Holy moly, these rolls are HUGE! You can easily split one roll with two people. The rolls are not overly sweet, which I like. The dough is soft, light, and buttery, all in one bite. I will drive the hour to come out here again for the rolls and other menu items.I suggest getting there early since the rolls do sell out fast, especially on a weekend. Be patient when arriving on a busy morning since it is a smaller restaurant, but trust me, the wait will be worth it! There's street parking and some parking lots throughout downtown Hood River. There are parking fees.I'm looking forward to my next trip out to Hood River to enjoy more home-style meals.

Not sure how this place doesn’t have 5 stars. Charming staff, great prices, a gigantic portion, and the food is incredible. Love this place.

Nice cafe. Clean. Service was great even though the restaurant was super busy. The food portions are big and the food is really good Had a hamburger and chicken fried steak. The restaurant is much bigger than it looks to be from the street. Had giant cinnamon rolls and a nice selection of pie. Really glad we stopped there. .

The food was tasty, the staff were great as always, and it was pretty quiet on a Thursday morning (easy to find a seat). It can be pretty busy on Sundays!

Oh my goodness, so glad we discovered Bette's! We're on a 12 hour road trip from Portland to SLC and needed breakfast on our way out. We called ahead and ordered the Salmon Bagel, Huevos Rancheros, and Huevos con Tortillas for take out on the drive. Everything was fresh and delicious! My 8yo daughter says this is the best Huevos Rancheros and side of fruit she's had in her life and insisted I leave a review. :) We're all feeling great and ready to take on the rest of this road trip. Might have to make this our regular stop for breakfast on this these trips in the future.

Cinnamon rolls were incredible! The other items were also great, and tasted fresh. The portion sizes were very generous. Definitely would recommend for breakfast or brunch.
