Paula knocked our cake out of the park. Our tasting was easy – her cakes were delicious and really blew us away. She was able to execute our exact vision and worked with different ideas we tossed around early on about what we wanted our wedding cake to look like as well as flavor combinations.When it came to the actual cake, she nailed it! It was truly the perfect amount and very little was left which is a true testament to her cakes. Her chocolate was top notch and the marionberry almond cake was perfection – tasted even better on our wedding day than at our tasting. We highly recommend Windflower cakes if you’re getting married in the Hood River area.

A description of our anniversary cake: Amazing, decadent, sublime and gorgeous barely cover it. Perhaps heavenly, museum-worthy, and hands-down the best cake I have ever eaten? I think that might describe what an incredible experience it was to eat a slice of Windflower Cakes! Oh, and did I mention that it was gluten free and dairy free? And the owner/baker was kind, thoughtful and punctual? It was an amazing experience and I will definitely be a return customer.
I’m a caterer, I’ve worked a few weddings now where Paula provided the cake and her level of skill is well above the rest. I’ve seen a lot of cases where bakers sacrifice flavor for looks or vice versa. Not the case with wild flower. Keep up the good work! She’s a pro, you’ll be in good hands.

Windflower cakes saved us on our wedding day. The day before, our bakery had apparently shut down secondary to COVID without notifying us. Scrambling, we began calling bakeries to see if anyone would take on the job of making our wedding cake the day before our wedding. Not only was Paula willing to make one for us, but she was also willing to make the flavor we wanted (hazelnut cake with vanilla cream frosting) when she was originally not going to be making any cakes that flavor. The cake was also THE BEST cake we have ever had in our lives. THANK YOU!

Their communication and accommodation on the day of the wedding was above and beyond, and I could not be more grateful.
