Tried for the first time yesterday, always cautious about anything that is really hyped up, but this is absolutely excellent pizza. Really great deal for the price, the pizza was huge, the staff was very friendly, and really a plus that it is right next to Parallel 45. Will definitely be returning.

When Sunday Feb 11th; 1:30 pm, Take out order customized half pie. Absolutely, wonderful service provided by husband and wife team of Mike & Juby. We were greeted warmly by Mike, at this Independence food cart. It was our first time here, so Mike explained to us our different options, pleasantly. He recommended ordering a customized half pie, where the both of us, could have 2 square pies each. I settled on two Pepperoni pies, while my wife was a little more adventurous with her choices and got 1 slice of the Grandma & 1 slice of the black olive slices. Since this food cart is strictly take out, other than eating in your car, you can add a little bit of ambiance by grabbing a pint at Parallel 45 brewery next door, where they have indoor/outdoor seating...Bringing in outside food is totally acceptable with the staff at Parallel 45 Brewing... For the two of us on this chilly Sunday afternoon, we decided to drive back home to Salem, to enjoy the pies in the warm comfort of our home. The pies were absolutely delicious. The magic is in the dough and that's what makes these square pies a definite must have...My wife said, when I am craving for "great" pizza, I am driving over the river for these New York Square pies.

I've eaten at New York Squares a handful of times and not only is the pizza fantastic the owner/operators are great folks. I highly recommend any/all pizza lovers who also like to support local small businesses to head over to Independence, Oregon to pick up a slice - or three to eat there or to take home. Enjoy!

Our go to pizza in town. We use to be dedicated to yeasty beasty up the road but we dropped them like a hot potato for NY SQUARES. Super easy to find and right downtown. Next to Parallel 45 if you are a beer drinker. Nice easy parking as well. And enjoyable spot for the whole family, especially once it starts to warm up outside. They have the best best pizza I have had since I left Portland ? make sure you ask for hot honey to top your pizza with and crushed red pepper ?

If you think there’s a better place to get pizza in the valley, Fuugghheedaaboouuttiitt!! This place is a MUST TRY! Owner’s are so down to earth and genuinely great humans. Eating at New York squares is choosing to support local! 10/10 recommend. No question. Go and try it ASAP!
