The food here is always amazing. It is easily my favorite Thai restaurant around in the Polk County area. The waiter that served us though was very strange and rude. When he took our order, my dad told him that we also wanted an appetizer of the lettuce wraps in addition to our entrees we were all having. In response to this, the waiter gave us this weird look then proceeded to say “that’s a lot of food, you sure you can eat all that?”. I’m sorry, but I think that’s totally inappropriate to say when a person is ordering. Later on, my mom asked for a Thai iced tea. Again, he made a weird comment and said “That’s gonna charge you extra”. I have never seen this guy before waiting on people. He was originally cleaning tables whenever I saw him there and came in to get food. I don’t know who decided to choose this guy to be a waiter, but they made a bad choice. He was extremely rude!

The food is good, however the service in person and for pickup is the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced. The owner is ALL about the tips, and told me next time I use grubhub to not tip them and tip her directly. I will not be back again. Super sad, it’s a small town with limited options.

I LOVE Silk Thai. Do not sleep on this place bc the food is fantastic. Everything - from taste, texture, freshness and choices. I haven't ordered one thing yet that I did not enjoy. The ambiance is peaceful, simple, clean. Service is great. The owner always seems to be working and she's very attentive to everyone in her care. It's located right on main street amongst the cute shops and local shops. Great for dining alone, with another or a group.
The food was okay, nothing to talk about but what I do want to talk about is the service. She never offered me water or asked how the food was. I went up and paid for my food and left. I was outside and I heard this lady telling me I had to pay tip, it wasn't included! I stood there for a second and s thought about what I was hearing and she repeated it. I told her Um I paid for the food and tip for what??? You didn't even offer me water!" I told her a tip is optional and if it was good service I would've tipped but you giving me food I ordered doesn't get you a tip! Water would've helped. I asked her to stick around so I could record her and she simultaneously walked away, saying I didn't say anything. She did tell me never to come back, I didn't plan to! No Mam not the one.

Very nice. Excellent pad Thai, cashew chicken, & Massamann curry. I'm sure other dishes are great, but that's what we had. Highly recommended.
