My wife and I were recently in the Willamette Valley area of Oregon tasting wines. We came upon La Chouette Vineyard and decided to visit. We did not have an appointment, but were able to get in - and are we glad we did. The tasting area is on the back patio of the estate overlooking one of the most beautiful valleys - absolutely stunning beauty. The wines (Pinots) were delicious - the place is so peaceful and beautiful that we did not want to leave. We highly recommend La Chouette!

My wife and I were in Oregon - Willamette Valley area. We visited La Chouette Vineyard in Jefferson. What a beautiful find. This is a small winery, but man oh man, their wines are delicious. The tasting area is the back patio of a beautiful estate overlooking a spectacular view of the valley. The setting is so, so peaceful you do not want to leave. We highly recommend La Chouette.

Beautiful vineyard overlooking the Willamette Valley. Delicious variety of wines for tasting. Very friendly, welcoming, enchanted place with prime sunset viewing. A French chateau experience in Salem Oregon.

We visited the vineyard for the Great American Eclipse, and had a wonderful stay. For this once in a lifetime spectacle, they allowed people to camp overnight on the property, and hosted an elegant dinner the evening before, and a delicious continental breakfast the day of. Lots of wine to sample (and buy... and we bought...). This event attracted an interesting an eclectic group people came out for the dinner and wine sampling, including a famous TV actor, conservationist, a family from Japan, local Salem wine enthusiasts, Wall St. power couple, and Seattle-area families. Great conversations. Got to have a long talk with the winemaker. Lot of good stuff going on here. Recommended.

Beautiful property and house, and very accommodating! We dropped by unannounced, and the sign said 'by appoints only' but they were very nice and squeezed us in before a dinner event. The wine was really excellent and they had a nice range. The somm was super friendly and knowledgeable.
