The food is amazing!Sometimes, they are so busy that they can't keep up with demand. It is a hidden gem of eateries in Klamath.

so first of all, i guess i need to lower my expectations for dining out in this small town, since i have a wealth of sushi experiences to compare this one to. my first recommendation to this establishment is, to clean the menus. if the first item you receive as a customer is filthy, you are off to a bad start. some of the tastes were mediocre at best and while I'm unsure if they are salting the food heavily to hide the age of the product, i would recommend that they consider this during preparation. The eel sauce was less than satisfying and very sadly, really wasn't much different from the soy sauce. when I happened to move the foil from one of the cooked rolls, there was a black hair under the foil, i have blonde hair. I was nearly done with my meal at this point and just decided to finish and leave. I didn't bother to point these things out to the young gentleman that waited on us because i new he didn't put the hair on the plate, it clearly came from the kitchen and if anyone would just look at the menu before they hand it out, then they themselves would realize not to have put it on my table in the first place. It all speaks to a very low level of professionalism and that is what a business should be striving for. I wish i could have awarded a high score, but i think the business should be thankful that i didn't score it lower.

I ordered the bulgogi special. Rice was old and dry and bulgogi was boiled and tasteless!! I mean Tasteless. Other folks in my party ordered sushi rolls(they're just was no flavor in those also)Service was good... I definitely will not be back....meal came to $70 with tip what a rip off!!!

The best sushi place in Klamath and it’s not even remotely close. Makes momiji seem like pig slop.

My partner and I got food to go, and it was great! We got the chicken katsu, miso soup, and green tea ice cream. All delicious, big portions, and well made. The restaurant was busy despite seeming slightly understaffed (I think one person in the front, one back), but the young man who took our order was very kind and took his time with helping us. The food didn't take long. The dining area is very cozy, with pretty lanterns and a natural, minimal lay out. Great food, deal, service, and atmosphere, I would definitely return if I was in the area!

Always great food at Hanayori! We had the chicken teriyaki, the firecracker roll and the Oregon roll. All of it was delish and the service was great. Go early and you can eat in before they get busy!!Parking: On street in front or just half a block to the public lot on the corner.Kid-friendliness: If your kids like the food options they'll do fine!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and all table seating so easy for a wheelchair.

This is a decent Japanese place for a small city. It's not fancy and would qualify as a "hole in the wall" but the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and I would have given them 5 stars if the darn tea pot wasn't the worst pouring device I've ever experienced. Regardless, give them a try !

I wanted to like this restaurant but it must have been a bad day for them. The rice was old, the bulgogi was ok but the California roll was a little mushy. I think they were short staffed and the service was slow because of this. The sole person in front was running around having to do everything from greeting, seating, taking orders, delivering food, busing tables, and settling checks. Tough day for them.

Got my food and my plate was filthy. I could see and scrape old upon old grime off my plate. The bottom still had old food on it from beimg stacked in the sink. Same with the 4 other people in my party. Owner did not charge us but it was definitely not an oversize. We will not be back.

We were the first people to arrive at around 6:30 on a Thursday night, it filled up very quickly and the waiter was young, but very attentive and nice, the food was great, took just as long to prepare as most restaurants, maybe even faster, and everyone else was getting food just as fast.

The Chicken Katsu is on a different level. The food is reliably good and the service is quick.
