Good solid food. We had caesar salad, shrimp scampi, seafood ciopinno, and halibut fish & chips. All were fabulous. A great neighborhood joint that is a bit of a LO secret.

The ambiance was quaint, and our server seemed pleasant enough. However, the culinary experience was an absolute travesty, epitomizing disrespect for the hefty price tag. I opted for their Wagyu beef Burger, only to be served a patty as thin as a wafer and charred beyond recognition. Meanwhile, my partner's $41 steak arrived resembling a piece of charcoal despite ordering it medium rare. The Caesar salad we dared to order featured wilted, lackluster romaine that might as well have been sourced from a compost heap. The lone saving grace was the calamari, a dish so rudimentary that even this establishment couldn't botch it. Should you have an insatiable desire to squander your hard-earned money on subpar experience and abysmal food look no further—this establishment is the epitome of overpriced mediocrity.

3.5 stars: A friend and I went to Baird's on B for happy hour because the menu looked intriguing. The service was friendly and the patio seating overlooking B Street was so comfortable and fun. I wish the food had been better to fit the wonderful afternoon spent there. We ordered the following:Crab cakes: 3 small dollar coin-sized medallions. It didn't really taste like crab - at least there weren't any easily identifiable lumps of crabs but then again the crab cakes would have to be much larger to accommodate any sizable chunks of meat.Brussel sprouts: I thought this would be oven-roasted but instead it had the oiliness and texture of being deep fried. Even the center of the brussel sprouts were dried and crispy which means it may have been deep fried or roasted way too long. As a result of the dried-out texture, I didn't get much flavor from it.Vegetarian potstickers: this was our favorite dish but the bar has been set pretty low. While the texture of the wrapper and the flavor of the filling was good, the filling to wrapper ratio was woefully low. To make it worse it was overly glazed thus making it salty. Certainly the extra soy dipping sauce was not needed. It would've been better without the glaze. For the price of these 3 items as well as the many positive reviews of this restaurant I expected better. My friend enjoyed the glass of house wine and I liked the refreshing cranberry lemonade.

We recently dined for our Wedding Anniversary. I tasked my husband with selecting a spot we'd never been with great food and a casual atmosphere. While he would've happily taken me to an upscale establishment, we simply wanted to celebrate in a laid back way. He made reservations to sit in the bar and they were very accommodating. We ended up at the bar, which we prefer. The atmosphere is very unique with a lot of beautiful wood. The structure is what I think is an old house and includes quaint outdoor seating. Had the temp not been in the 90s, we would've definitely sat outside. The Bartender was friendly and helpful with menu selections. I enjoyed a martini and my husband chose wine. We began with crabcakes which were flawless! The Caesar salad was wonderful as well. It included more of the leafy part of the romaine where I prefer the hearts but small thing really. Our shared entree was Alaskan halibut which was prepared simply and beautifully. We were treated by the house to a small lava cake, topped with high quality vanilla ice cream and fresh berries and it was delightful! All in all, we would definitely return to Baird's on B. We could tell that many customers were regular locals and I can see why. What a cute place to be able to walk to. On a sidenote: a group of young ladies, under legal drinking age were seated at a table nearby and they ordered various mocktails. We watched the preparation and these drinks were works of art - including fresh muddled fruit. With a growing trend of adults choosing to forego alcohol, nice option!

We tried out this place for the first time on 5/13/23 for a Mother's Day dinner (1-day before to avoid the crowds). We were seated swiftly. Their staff was unusually friendly and attentive. Excellent food with a nice, classy ambiance.

The happy hour food here was really great! As were the drinks. It is a little on the pricey side and I could see how it would get really busy quickly. This would be a great place to go with guests from out of town.
