They forgot my sons burritos. I was upset because they offered us to come back down and pick them up with zero compensation... just a sorry. I operate a business myself and I believe in making things right. Sorry is not compensation for the look on my sons faces when their food wasn't in the bag. With that being said the food is amazing. The smoked chicken burrito was great. Rice was great... different and a breath of fresh air. Ill Definitely look over the mistakes we all make as humans... I'd try this place if I was you.

Love this place. The owners have done a great job in getting to know their customers and it comes across as genuine. It’s a soccer place and I really enjoy that. The food is excellent with belly filling portions. I will return many more

I went for dinner last night at this authentic and welcoming local restaurant for the best onsite smoked chicken you'll find North of Central America. This is a family owner and operated Costa Rican place that is true to its name and executes it without flaw. Succulent chicken, rice/beans, weekends feature home made ceviche and a bonus - Cuba Libre! Very generous portions too. Mario the owner personally greets and checks in on everyone. Most everyone he greets by their first name. This is the true sign of a loyal following and an owner that puts customer service at the top. My only regret is that I did not discover this gem sooner. Do yourself a solid and stop by.

CANCEL YOUR PLANS AND GO EAT CEVICHE*, SMOKED CHICKEN (with rice, beans, and pickled vegetables), AND PLANTAINS HERE NOW. *Ceviche is served on Fridays and Saturdays only. Seriously, this place is legit. Small, cozy, family-run business. Best food I have had in Lake O, some of the best food I've ever had, period. We will be back, maybe I will just start living there.

Picked up to-go as first order... Got the family smoked chicken dinner, Yuka, and ceviche... With 15% tip the total was $97. The chicken was dry and everything else was ok. Given the reviews, my expectations were high. I don't think the food was worth the cost.

You guys, GO HERE! My husband loves it and I was skeptical but it is supremely delicious. The best chicken I have ever had. The nicest, most genuine owners I have ever met. But really it is about the food and this is a 10 our of 10. You are really missing out if you don't give this a try whether it be dine in or carry out. Now that I am writing this, I think I need to go get some arroz con pollo. My mouth is literally watering thinking about it! GO! NOW!
