One of the best burgers in the US! This place is great and keeps it old school vibe going. The milkshakes are great too.

The burger was a frozen patty grilled quickly. The "salsa" on the jalapeno burger was cooked on the grill and so hot it burned my mouth. Not worth the price. Not by a long shot.$5 burger sold for $12

Old school drive in burger joint. It was ok. Dry bun and burger pattie. Good staff.

Honestly not worth the money. I think I had maybe 8 fries in my basket. The burger was just a let down. Hardly any taste at all. It was all of two stars. The customer service was lacking big time. Just being honest here.

At one time I bet this place had great burgers but not in the year of our Lord 2022. I ordered the onion rings along with a burger. You get 5 whole onion rings for $6. The big menu sign had prices of the burgers but surprise, there is a little 8x11 sign on the counter that says " all burgers are $2 more". Didn't see this till I was trying to pay. It ended up being $9 for a jalapeno burger. It was not the best nor the worst burger I have had but it is definitely the worst $9 burger I have had. Also, they take cash only, surprise, that's on a little sign on the counter as well. If you want a better burger at a better price, it would be very very very easy to find a better place ( Burger King, Carl's Jr, etc......)

In a world where everything is a chain, this place brings you back to a simpler time. Burgers are great and milkshakes are awesome. For the idiots complaining about price increases, look at the world around you, even mcdonalds is just as expensive. A true ma and pa burger joint. Do yourself and the world a favor and keep this place around.

BORDERLINE BURGER JOINT Surly Owner + Mediocre Meat = Barely Edible Burger This place tastes of Cash n Carry mixed with bad juju. The owner was bitter and angry about the pandemic. He kept the convo political and it's clear there is hate in his heart. The hamburger was ok. Bun was nothing special and the meat patty tasted like something you would get at a YMCA picnic. If you find this place open (seems to have spotty hours), be sure to just get the onion rings and be ready for an awful owner to serve it to you.

Please forgive my lack of lucubration while I rant on this subject.I used to visit Giant Burger frequently in the late 80s when my family moved to Lake Oswego. I graduated in 1991 and left to attend university on the east coast. I hadn't been back in over thirty years but made a special trip to Lake Oswego a month ago. I was floored at how pretentious the area had become. It had a little of that back in 1989 but now it's just over the top. To find Giant Burger exactly how I remembered it was a relief. Their food was just as good as I remembered and the people that work there just a friendly! I worry that the owners won't be able to maintain it much longer and that it will fade into myth and the location used for yet another Starbucks. Current residents of Lake Oswego, you still have a real gem in your midst. I hope you appreciate it.

First strike...they don't take cards. 2nd and 3rd strike...Unbelievable!!! I stopped for lunch today. ( The first time in many years). As I was placing my order I looked down and saw a bunch of political signs that they had posted. One of them was very disrespectful of our honorable President of the United States. I remembered reading another Yelp review that mentioned the owner and employees had made racist remarks that made them feel uncomfortable. I decided to ask the very old woman behind the counter if she was a Trump supporter. She has what does that matter? I said it matters a lot since I see you have posted signage that disrespects our current president. If you're a Trump supporter I don't wanna give you a penny of my money. She said "that's fine, leave." Makes sense now that they don't accept cards.

The exterior is very much a reflection what you will experience inside. Is it the highest quality or best burger in town? No. Is it tasty? Yes. All these one star reviews are a bit undeserved in my opinion. Cash only is a pain, I've driven by many times and would have loved to stop but I don't normally carry cash. The service has always been fine. I've found the owners to be polite. The food has always been fresh although I do agree with the comments of the meat not being the greatest. The shakes are quite good though. Honestly I go for the experience. Sometimes it's nice to each lunch in analog.

Wonderful small town feel. Small local business that has been in town for decades. Friendly service, family run. CASH only. Visit the ATM before you go.

The burgers were so so and the fries were overcooked. It's cash only. The cashier wasn't wearing a mask in spite of a state-wide mandate. We took our food outside.
