It's sad what the ownership has done to a once great restaurant. Lots of fond memories there with family and friends. All the staff who made hunan pearl the best are now gone. Taken for granted.

Ordered delivery and it did not disappoint. Cashew Chicken was some of the best I've had. Fried rice was fresh and delicious. Crab puffs came with a great sauce to add that sweetness I look for! Will try again!

Our family came in for Valentine’s day around 6pm. We left quite disappointed. Service was extremely extremely ridiculously slow. The staff all looked stressed. We asked to speak to the owner or manager and was told they weren’t there today. Why you ask? Tables next to us did not have any waters and everyone was looking around for a waiter. It took over 30 minutes before someone even brought us waters and another 20 before a server came over to take our order. The server in the NASA shirt was very apologetic though and when we went up to pay the cashier explains how they were understaffed and was apologetic as well. Wait for food was not too bad but we did not see our server again until we flagged him down for our check. Food wasn’t bad, your typical Chinese. Overall, props to the staff for being there, Boo to poor management especially on a day like this.

Probably shouldn't have gone to a Chinese restaurant for Lunar New Year. Service was quite lacking in every way, dishes not served so served very late, no server to take drink orders. Friends who have dined there before rave about the food but complain about the service.

I love going here. Tonight the people working were overflowed with what looked like a large party of 25 people, and other reservations and walk ins. The staff held their own and was keeping everyone updated with their reservations, wait times and pick up orders. The hostess Katie was popping off and keeping everyone informed and keeping her cool. I saw her answer the phone over and over again while still greeting new people walking in, a server named Thano I believe, was also working hard getting people seated and keeping up with reservations. A big shoutout to this server I didn’t get his name but one server was checking out the whole party of 25 on his own when one of the party goers came up to complain about it being “slow”. I watched him the whole time while waiting for my food and he was going above and beyond I swear he was running like 5 tickets per sec it was amazing. I hope that lady see this and realizes she should be thankful for the wonderful service given and appreciate the staff that fed her and her friends.I love this place I hope the owners appreciate their staff and give them big kudos. Thank you so much

We walked in about 6:30 p.m. sort of busy but got seated right away. My dish was the Hunan scallops and a brown spicy sauce 8 scallops of a very good size cooked to perfection mixed in with some vegetables for$24. My wife had the Hunan Pearl lo mein for $15. The food was excellent the service was excellent. As we live in Yamhill and we have a Chinese restaurant 10 mi away in Forest Grove that is excellent and we will continue to go there.

This place is top-notch. The food is great. The quality of the ingredients are excellent. The staff is great too! The owner regularly makes his rounds, making sure that the customers are enjoying the food and the service, which is very hard to find these days.

This is our local Chinese restaurant and we have only had a couple things (kung pao chicken, pork fried rice and pot stickers) but all three of those items have been absolutely delicious. After the first time we got food from there we were so happy to have food a local Chinese restaurant that was actually good food, made fresh.
