I spent over $100 on their signature “centerpiece” cake named after Kyra. The Kyra’s Rainbow Magic cake. They charged me extra for the fondant, which I was fine with until I saw what the cake looked like. You can clearly see bubbling and other imperfections from all angles, but also notice the black dots IN the fondant. This tells me they were not working on a clean surface. I regret not opening the box when I picked up my order. They had the box all taped up and I didn’t want to be an inconvenience to the busy staff. Before you can blame me on mishandling and storage, not possible. I only live a few blocks away and I did not drop or shake the box. I opened the box right after I got home and I took those pictures immediately in disbelief. At that point, it was too late for me to do anything about it. A refund or apology would not have solved my problem, as I needed a cake for my event and didn’t have time to go out and buy another one.As for the taste, cake was super dry and flavorless. You can see the crumbs from the cake falling apart. The layers were uneven and that buttercream was straight up just solid butter. I served half the cake to those who were brave enough to take a bite. No one finished their slice and I ended up tossing the whole thing into the trash, where it belonged.I feel like I have been conned. There is no way this business is legitimate.

Kyra is in the business of .... making people very happy! We're not even gf and enjoy her pastries. Most recent favorites include the cinnamon rolls, crinkly cookies, and german chocolate cupcake. Oh, and the maple donuts were wonderful too. (We kind of go here a lot). :)

Yum! Being gluten intolerant, I so miss pastries. I haven't had anything here that is not delicious! This morning the Swedish almond roll brought back childhood memories of being at my Auntie's house.

The food is fine, but not worth the cost. This is a very expensive bakery.

I have celiac disease and was so excited to finally find a place that offers only gluten free products. The problem wasn't the food, it was the poor customer service. No smiles, no thank you have a great day, no answering my question with courtesy. I don't expect much, but as excited as I was to finally have some options, it made me feel really bad when I left. Also, I thought it was kinda un professional to have a sign on the table that said to bus your own table. It was way too overpriced for what we got. If the service was appropriate and kind, I'd have a different review. Bummed.

They have the most creative and thoughtful vegan dessert options for a non-vegan establishment. They seem to rotate their options of flavors every week, but always have vegan dessert options available (Hand Pies and Cupcakes). We tried the VEGAN CHOCOCO NUT LOVE made with: vegan fudge cake, coconut pecan caramel filling, coconut caramel mousse frosting. That cupcake was astoundingly delectable! The kind that could win a cupcake war all on its own. The cake was deep chocolate goodness. The filling was creamy and had a soft bite from the pecans, which added some funness to the chewing experience. The mousse frosting was so cloud soft. Everything was perfect. We dream of the next occasion when heaven's pupil actualizes into a sweet treat you can eat.Dietary restrictions: Vegan Options

I was excited to find Kyra’s bake shop, even though Ive not had a good experience with the owner in the past. However, it is the only gluten free bakery in the area. I thought I’d give it another go.Her products are pricier than other quality gluten free baked goods. I ordered the spinach artichoke galette, hot chocolate cupcake and the swedish bun.Ive had the hot chocolate cupcake before, this time around the cake itself was on the dry side the only thing saving it was the marshmallow topping but it was off, like it was drier than usual. The galette, i was looking forward to but alas, it was awful. As you can see from the picture below it was raw. Not surprising since there was just a giant heap of spinach that had no flavor. At least chop the spinach, the artichoke part of this I could not find. it was just a giant pile of spinach with no flavor and just piled on top. Not to mention the dough was still raw, at first I thought it was cheese but on second look I noticed it was the entire bottom.Mind you I paid $13 for something I had to throw away. Now I have not tired the swedish bun and Im kind of hesitant to even try it. This was by far the worst purchase Ive made. If you need a gf baked good you can find it at whole foods or the Zupan’s near by unless you want to waste your money here.In addition, service was not the greatest. I am not sure if they Rac!st or they have never had someone hispanic buy there. For this alone, I would not return.

Kyra's made our wedding cupcakes and they were so delicious! All our guests raved about how yummy they were. We ordered Vegan and gluten free cupcakes and they were moist and the perfect flavor. Amazing! Try the strawberry milkshake and salted caramel chocolate for yourself some time. Perfect desserts for our special day! Thanks Kyra's!!

I came in last Monday and the cupcake I ordered was mediocre at best. Really gritty and dry. Maybe I've just been spoiled by all the awesome Portland bakeries but I really don't get all the glowing reviews. I wouldn't even bother writing a review though, if it weren't for the absolutely atrocious service I got. Young looking white guy whose entire presence screamed "I hate my job." I don't know what else to say besides maybe pay your employees better because they're clearly unhappy. Start to finish my experience was deeply uncomfortable. Won't be back.

Kyras gluten free bakery, where do i begin? Finally i found a place that has revolutionized gluten free baking! Nothing is too expensive, nothing is too sweet, the textures are delightful! The sandwiches and bread is equal and better than regular bread! Nothing here gets a bad grade! Staff is perfect! Customers are engaging as well. Kyra also engages the customers and is part of her own team which is unheard of! Kyra comes out to a table setup with cake prototypes and personally goes over a wedding cake order with an excited couple! You can listen in, its just the coolest coffee or lunch spot with the most fabulous fare! Its my new home! Kyra was very kind, not at arms length! Made me feel very good about the future! 10 stars the chicken club on chibatta, cinnamon roll, chocolate chip muffin, white choc mocha! Plus loaf of amazing gf bread! Much much more to try yum yumm!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dairy freeKid-friendliness: Kids were there and happy

Drove quite a way to stock up on some yummy gf treats. The cupcakes and cookies did not disappoint! The chicken bacon ranch sandwich was okay bread was super dry/crumbly and chicken was kind of rubbery. But have to say the biggest standout was the service. No friendly greeting, no thanks for coming in, have a nice day, no smile, asked if that ‘was it’ after everything I picked out and the strangest, when my sandwich came out, it was placed in front of someone else waiting for their drinks at the counter and when I put my hand up that it was mine the guy working looked at me, but still left it in front of the someone else and I had to go ask him if I could cut in front of him to get it. Disappointed in a couple areas. It’s a long drive and unsure about returning at this point.
