We arrived for our 6:30 PM reservation about 5-6 minutes early, were seated right away, had our drink orders taken very quickly, then our food orders for a split salad and two entrees were taken at about 6:35. We then waited and waited and waited for SOMEthing to come as a salad certainly doesn't take over a half hour to prepare! Finally at almost 7:10, 35 minutes later, my husband got up to go find our server. She looked at him as if she had never seen him before as she was probably in a bit of shock when he asked about our food orders taking so long. She immediately went to the kitchen to find out that our ticket was lost, and she returned to our table extremely apologetic and brought us our split salad. We did not feel it was HER fault at all, and she said they were doing our entree orders right then. At almost 7:30, she brought our food to the table and we FINALLY got to enjoy our meals. Would we return to Manzana? Maybe, but we would probably mention this to our next server so she is on the alert to make sure the kitchen doesn't lose our orders again!

Service was a little rough, server was either new or his section was too big to handle. Food was great, had 1 beer not by choice but because he didn't come back to ask until we were done.

Overall, it was a nice experience. The food was good. When we first entered the restaurant it took a very long time for anyone to acknowledge we had arrived. Several people walk past us looked at us and never said that a host would be with us soon. Once seated the service was good. However, the patio does not have adequate lighting for evening dining. We were sitting in the dark unable to see our food when served.

Everything was quite good, the only issue was how quickly the main course showed up as it was less than 5 minutes after we got our appetizer. Would have been nice to have had more time to enjoy it.

Celebrated a birthday here and invited family guests from out of state to share lunch with us. I was pretty excited to take them here. Sunday lunch time and I understand its busy but the manners of the kitchen staff and the energy felt like I brought my folk to a rundown takeout shop. The food was ok and our main server was pleasant but as they were bringing plates out they were yelling at us to announce the orders with attitude and basically had the plates slammed down our tables - truly spoiled our event. No etiquette, no class and straight up rude considering they knew we were celebrating a family's birthday. I used bring my staff here for dinner in the past so I chose to have our family lunch here, but with the behavior of the staff today, I will not come back here nor recommend this place. Gave a full good tip because our server was obviously trying his best to provide a good service, but the rude kitchen staff, the person leading them and the overall tacky conversations we could hear from the kitchen will humiliate you as the host if you try to host guests for a meal. Traumatizing!

We attended the Lake Oswego Heritage Collector Car and Wooden Boat Show. Manzana is pleasant walk from George Rogers park to the heart of the downtown Lake Oswego business district. The staff was cheerful, efficient, and - when necessary - unobtrusive. There was a choice of indoor or outdoor seating (in the shade), and the toddler in our group did not seem to bother the staff. The vegetarians seemed to prefer the "Impossible Burger" option. The fries were very well prepared, the green salad was cool, crisp, and flavorful (delightfully delicious on a hot summer day). The atmosphere is "understated but classy" - with an ambiance that encourages thoughtful conversation. Definitely a favorite location away from the chaos of downtown Portland.

This is a mixed review. First the good. We loved our server, a courteous, thoughtful man. Sadly, I didn't ask his name. The chicken Cobb salad was a favorite with all three of us. The cornbread appetizer was delicious, and the small remaining piece was equally good at dinner. Second, the not so good. There was no host at the door, several servers noticed us from a distance with no acknowledgement. Finally I walked to the back to ask. The sandwich with turkey, bacon, and cheese was 4” high! Impossible to eat politely. We are older women, as I noticed many of the customers at 12:00 Friday were. The seafood soup was not ready yet though we were ordering around 12:30. Finally, the thing that annoyed the most, when I made the reservation I noted it was a birthday so I expect a little something for our guest. NOTHING! Why ask if you're not going to do anything?

Dreadful unless you like RARE prime rib. Had to send back. Chef seared for a minute and sent back a charred in the outside, red on the inside offering. Well, the dog liked it.

Great food and service. I had the grilled seafood trio and my friends had the ribs. Both meals were excellent. The cornbread was amazing. We each had a dessert - creme brulee, key lime pie, and chocolate banana cream pie. The pie portions were huge - needed a to go box. Can't wait to go back!

Not too busy but either new/poor management or poor service in general. Long wait to get any service at the table. Waitress complained about being too busy. Only showed up a couple times during our stay. Food was good. This place used to have much better service.

Worst service in 20 years! Had to beg server for service every part of the meal. Would have been flexible but attitude even worse. To top it off, when I found her, she was texting at the bar!

The crab and artichoke on foccacia was delicious and the view of the water was nice. I was disappointed they didn't mention anything about our 26th anniversary even though we mentioned it three times.

First visit!,, came at 5 had patio seating and stayed for 2 hours!! More people started showing up so we thought we had better give up our table!! Food was great! Even added a dessert... the cheese cake slice to share!!! We will be back in Early in September!!

The food was very good. The service was so-so. The waiter was very nice but not very attentive. Some of our drink orders were wrong and he hardly came to the table to check on things. The restrooms were messy. I say this recognizing the staffing issues many companies are having. We will be back again. :-)

We made a reservation for outdoor dining. They told us outside is first come/first served when we got there on time for our reservation. There were multiple open tables that could easily moved together for our group of 9, but they said we don't allow moving of tables and we're unapologetic about not being able to meet our reservation. Fortunately some people left on a larger table outside soon after, as we also had some small children who didn't have the endurance to wait 30 minutes beyond our reservation. Overall, the server and food ended up being good. The hostess was so rude initially that we almost left though. It would be nice if they were more welcoming and if they can't honor an outdoor reservation, for them to decline it or call and advise us.
