Well… my ex said he was a cook here in the 70’s. I made the mistake of calling it Lil Black Sambo’s! Hey he is from India?Awesome omelette and 3 pancakes as a side!! Our server found some chocolate chips to throw on my husbands waffle! Nice and clean here!! WAY TOO GO! Perfect experience!!

Most of the time they have great food and great service, however, the last time we went the pancakes were raw in the center and the waitress brought a GLASS cup of juice for my 22 month old (I had to request a cup with a lid and straw). Our children love this place, but I'm just not sure it's worth it anymore.

We visited Lil' Sambos while vacationing on the coast. They were busy, though after a short wait we were seated. The first thing I noticed was the empty tables, some with dirty dishes still on them. Perhaps they were short-handed. The interior has a visually interesting jungle theme and a small knick-knack store. I ordered a half order of eggs benedict and choose red potatoes as the side. The Hollandaise sauce was a bit bland, though the potatoes were ruined by a back ash. I guess the result of sloppy cooking. Not likely to return.

Wonderful food, great service waitresses were so nice! , and fun place to go for breakfast but they are only open from noon to 3pm I think for dine in. A little gift shop is inside, and the lady that cashiers in the gift shop the sweetest we have ever met..

Dining in 1969, fun and simple, name it a tad unfortunate but a good retro experience. Basic American travel/tourist food so not for the super picky eater.

Service was wonderful. The burger was a true surprise. I did not anticipate such a great meal! This is a great family restaurant even though I was there with only my hubby. Reasonably priced and clean!!

Food was excellent! My husband ordered a Denver Omelet and I had Swedish pancakes. Service was excellent as well once you were seated. Remember there is always a wait at any restaurant on the coast and the wait can be 20 to 30 minutes. But it is worth it! It's clean and sanitized.

We've eaten here for many many years when visiting Lincoln City. It was consistently great food at a reasonable price. However, we stoped in on June 10. I ordered the seafood Benedict. Sadly, there was very little crab that still had peelings/ shells mixed in, a very sparse amount of bay shrimp, and only a small sliver or two of scallops. One of the eggs was nearly hard boiled vs. a medium poached yolk. Note: (An egg McMuffin is a whole lot cheaper and on par with this quality) While the Hollindaise auce was ok, the hash browns portion was very small and over cooked. The provided carafe of coffee was still very good and reminiscent of past experiences. My wife's order of a ham and cheese omelette was also a disappointment. The bitter flavor of the ham was barely edible. We suspect past the "fresh" timeline. The small portion size, poor quality of food, and sparse qty ofseafood topping now at significant price increases were all disappointing. This dish used to be a legendary Hallmark. We don't know what happened to this once great restaurant? Doubtful we'll be back, as the local chain competiton has better food at better prices. So sad to see an old local family business on the way down, unless they taste their own food and reset the cooks, buyers etc.

My kids thought this place was great. Diner type food and quirky decor. We had breakfast for lunch. Servers were good.

We were a large party, and the service was excellen. This was for a brunch. A nice touch was the availability of cappacino coffee. Portions are huge, so bring your appetite.

A great historic restaurant that has suffered from Covid and in need of a interior refresh. Food was good but my pattymelt could have been better with fresh patties not frozen.

How do I start this off? The heavyset hostess was belittling the customers for wearing masks while they waited for their name to be called. Her words were "if I had my way, we should have never allowed our liberal fascist government to force us to wear these face diapers. It's slavery, that's what this is." We took a few minutes to browse their "shop" while we waited to be called to our table. The books they sell are COVERED in racist caricatures of black children, as well as religious propaganda. No wonder these places are going out of business. I can only hope their decline is swift and merciless.

Forget the place up the road! This place is the best place in town for breakfast! It wasn't crowded, the employees were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food.....oh my, the food! They don't mess around! You want a meat lover's omelet? The ham, bacon, and sausage is plump and juicy! You want stuffed French toast? Prepare to get STUFFED!I could say a bunch more nice things and it still wouldn't be enough!A+ quality and service!Get a picture with Bigfoot while you're here! ;)

Food was good. The service was ok, the waitress was pleasant. I didn't like the gift shop being the size it is. Huge. Focusing more on gift shop than customers and food.

Excellent food and service. The pancakes are excellent. There is something in them (vanilla, maybe?) that really makes them extra tasty! Big portions and good ol' home cooking.
