Our favorite restaurant in McMinnville! We love French cuisine, and always make a point of dining at the Bistro when we come to the area. Last few time in town, for an appetizer, we've had their take on vichyssoise, although this time out my wife ordered the foil gras, as it was her birthday. All wonderful.

This was my Wife and I's first visit here. We had an absolutely lovely time. They helped us instantly at the door and confirmed our reservation. We had never been in so the staff spent some extra time with us letting us know how things worked and how to best order. They encouraged us to split meals and share so we could try more items on the menu. Our food and drink came out at a very reasonable pace, and the seasonal items were fantastic for this visit. We cannot wait to go back and try more items!

We celebrated Valentine's Day at Bistro Maison and opted for their special 3-course Valentine's Day menu—which was superb! This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always perfection and the ambience charming.
I had reservations with two of my daughters for 4:30 PM Saturday, for the Valentines Day special menu. My daughters have traveled and dined all over the world multiple times. The three of us all agreed what really stood out about Bistro Maison. The ambiance was beautiful, exciting and fun. The food was fabulous and extraordinary in the quality of its many unique and delicious scents, flavors, and tenderness from the first to the last bite. The bottle of Pinot Noir wine they selected for us was just right in balance, body and flavor for our diverse meals. The service was delightful and always right on time. Thank you, Bistro Maison, and all your staff, for providing a great dining experience as always, for me to share with my daughters on this special night. Cheers, Jeff

This restaurant is perfectly named! The food is fantastic, locally sourced, contemporary presentations of traditional French dishes, and the service feels like you are in a very loving and generous! French couple’s home. The ambience is cozy and the service is attentive, well informed (including wine pairings), well timed but not rushed. The portions are intentionally large, and they provide to-go dishes for all your leftovers. Just like Mom!! Our evening was very special, and we relished in the heartfelt care that this husband and wife team have cultivated in this special restaurant!!

My family and I have a tradition of going out to celebrate Solstice and this year we went to Bisto Maison and had THE BEST time. The wait staff were so nice and helpful. My wife has borderline celiac disease, and the restaurant was able to accommodate her throughout the whole meal. Our family of 5 (16 and 12 yr old boys and 10yr old girl) have some experience already with high end restaurants, our kids are pretty adventurous with trying new foods. We shared the Tapenade, Salmon Gravlax, and the Crab Cocktail. They brought my wife gluten free crackers and fingerling potatoes AAAND a serving of truffle fries for all of us. Our table was crowded with all the dishes – just the way we like to see it.After about a 10-15 minute rest/time out, our entrees arrived. Our 12 yr old and 10 yr old both ordered the NY Strip Steak burger. Our one waitstaff warned us how large the burgers are and even though we knew our kids wouldn’t finish them, we took everything home that we didn’t finish – and that included all our entrees. The kitchen staff made my wife’s Cassoulet without the breadcrumb crust, and it was phenomenal. I had the Confit (crispy skin, tender meat) and our 16 yr old son had the Steak tartar. And the wait staff was impressed with his knowledge on how it’s prepared. The meal was perfect – simply perfect.We ordered our desserts to go because we had to tap out! There were two other tables that celebrated a birthday. The staff brought a sparkler candle for each table, and everyone sang happy birthday. Since the staff learned we came to celebrate Solstice (and while we waited for our desserts) the staff lit a sparkler candle for our table and took some pictures with my phone. In short, we had a wonderful and memorable experience.
