I always bring my "special yellow cup" to Laughing Bean Bistro with me when I meet my onliest cousin in the world, it's never been a problem before today! But, today, for some reason it was a problem for the angry little waitress who evidently didn't want to accommodate me (ironically, my cousin brought his own cup, and no one said a word to him)!Normally a pleasant, welcoming coffee shop, before I sat down, the waitress began lecturing me in front of 20 or so people over me bringing in my own cup.I’m edging up on my senior years and she treated me as though I had no common sense, no ability to think on my own, though she’s a waitress, and I am an accomplished Teacher, College Professor, Administrative Law Expert (Administration, Human Resources, Employment headhunter), and she’s lecturing me on decorum… 'Was it that she didn't want to wash the table to accommodate a customer?Did I look like someone she resents?Did she need a nicotine break? Was she hung-over from the night before?Did she think she was back in Jr. High smarting off to one of her teachers? She was bound and determined to........NOT ONCE,.....NOT TWICE,.....BUT THREE TIMES return to where I was sitting (politely and courteously) and in a derogatory tone scold me and disparage my character...She was 100% inappropriate--and, if I were her boss (Kristi Sue Searles), I would have told her to go home, take the day off (if not fired her on the spot).I was cheerful, anticipatory when I walked in that door, but upon her third return to the table to scold me, my cousin and I left (my cousin paying for two cups of coffee though I was NEVER served one)!

Really good breakfast options and lunch options, portions are big, quality is really good, lots of coffee options along with fresh pastries. It gets busy on weekends so prepare for a short wait time.

I got the cinnamon roll pancake and loved it! They even gave me a new coffee when I put the wrong sugar in it.

Server was attentive and did her part in getting our orders in butttttttt the place was filthy. Not one clear spot on the floor without crumbs or even a place to set my bag. A daily sweep of a small cafe shouldn’t be that hard! Chairs were covered in random animal hair and crumbs and when we wiped it off dust was flying out of the chair fabric. I get that they open early and are busy off the bat but cleanliness is so important and I felt so grossed out by the time my food arrived. Got eggs benedict, the hollandaise sauce was not made well and the hashbrowns were mush. Hope they clean more often …hopefully caught them on a bad day but not so sure.

Such good food and a great place to take you family for breakfast! We come here every time we visit our family in McMinnville. It never disappoints. They could use a little more help with servers because our server the past couple times we've been there was spread way too thin, but all in all it is a great place to eat. What's nice is that if the server is too busy you can go up to the counter and the staff behind the counter are very friendly and helpful and will get you whatever you need.

A fine eatery is usually busy but worth the wait!LBB is exactly that but there was truly very little waiting. I wasn’t interested in getting a table, just there to pickup a craving for the wife but I did see a steady flow of traffic in and out of the place while I was there! She loved her omelette! She got the John Denver and I could tell she savored every bite. She also didn’t offer me a bite which solidifies the incredible flavor profiles she hordes all to herself!I snuck back later and scored myself! So delicious you won’t want to share even a bite! They close at 2pm so get there before noon!

First time in here today. After a nice walk through linear park, this makes for a great place to grab a warm drink for the walk back home. Spoke with an employee and learned that everything is made in-house and made to order. With a rotating list of pasties, I can expect new things on offer each time I decide to swing by.A comfortable interior with ample seating.

It's a small place, but we got in easily at noon. The food was generous and fresh. They offer half portions on some items and I enjoy that. They offer two large menus, so there is plenty to choose from to accommodate a variety of diets. My son had the Chicken Fried Chicken breakfast . It was a thick piece of breast, seasoned just right. My grandson had breakfast from the kids meal. It was enough to share. I had the California Benny half order. It was a couple dollars more than our regular spot, but worth it. The cappuccino was great!Vegetarian options: Most places aren't vegan friendly, but this place definitely has enough options to make a vegetarian happy.Dietary restrictions: The money is large enough to accommodate dietary restrictions. Options on the menu that can also be tweaked to be restriction friendly.Kid-friendliness: It looked like an older crowd when I was there. I'm in my '50s and from what I saw it seemed to be my age and above. However, we did have our two and a half year old grandson with us and there was a menu for him. The staff was friendly and the guest didn't seem to mind. There were no booster seats or high chairs. I would recommend they have at least one of each, just in case children come in. I don't think they get a lot of kids in there.Wheelchair accessibility: It will sure accessible and they are tables, so a chair can be removed and a wheelchair can be easily accommodated

I'm a pretty big fan of Laughing Bean. While my review is based solely on the breakfast they serve, everything I've had on the menu, including the Eggs Benny, the Corned Beef Hash, the Big Boy Burrito, or the Chicken Fried Steak, have all been excellent. They used to have an issue with getting the orders out when the said they would be ready, but as of the last handful of times I've been, it hasn't been an issue. Every so often you get an overcooked egg on the Eggs Benny, or a small order mistake like a biscuit instead of toast, but they've gotten better about it. The service has always been really friendly, and the prices are pretty reasonable for how much food you get. I can't speak too much to the ambiance since I've never been inside (always gotten it to go, they have a great drive thru!), but it looks nice from the window! If I was going to give a little creative criticism, I'd say that at times, the presentation of the to go orders isn't the best, as if someone tipped a dish on on it's side, or put it in the bag at a 90 degree angle, etc. Obviously doesn't affect taste, but there are times when an Eggs Benny has been smashed together by gravity.

We just had the single worst breakfast we have had in any restaurant in McMinnville. Things started off well and we were quickly seated and waited on by our server, coffees poured and meals ordered. That is where the positives ended. Whilst waiting for our food, we observed 2 other tables send food back because something wasn't correct, but hey, that happens. Then, our server came round to top of our coffee from a carafe that must have been sitting around for a while as it was only tepidly warm. After a surprisingly short wait, our server brought our food, and that is where the wheels fell off the bus. My eggs benedict looked great, but upon tasting, the sauce was cool, flavorless and watery, muffins cool, hash browns a cold, soggy mess that resembled lumpy mashed potatoes. My wife had ordered chicken fried chicken and was handed a chicken fried steak. So, order number three in the last 15 minutes headed back to the kitchen. She then brought back a plate with everything but the chicken on it while the chicken was being cooked. There was never so much as an apology, much less a discount on the tab. It was just another incorrect order, nothing out of the ordinary apparently. We have dined here before, and while never great, it was acceptable. Today was not. It wasn't super busy, so they can't blame that, it appears to be an acceptance of subpar quality by the staff.
