I have eaten there twice and plan on becoming a regular. Both times the food was outstanding and the wait staff excellent. Awesome ambience good for lunch meetings or casual dinners. Full bar, good beer selection. I did not see it they have wines but sure they must. I had Chana Masala and garlic naan. Very tasty. The naan came out steaming and I ordered more half way through the Chana masala which they had out in minutes.

This was our first time trying out Taste of India 1, we were not sure what to expect. We eat Indian cuisine often and are familiar with all the dishes. We were greeted by Bala who offered excellent customer service and was very attentive to all of our needs and questions and was very nice to our children. We ordered the butter chicken, the chicken, tandoori, garlic, naan, and some delicious mango lassi. To say the food was delicious is an understatement, the ambience was very nice, and the service was fast, and the prices were reasonable as well. Excellent addition to the beautiful city of McMinnville excellent and authentic Indian cuisine. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Indian cuisine usually has lots of vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Their staff are very friendly and kind and know how to engage with children.

We've been here twice and had great meals both times. Weekends can get very crowded, and the acoustics are a challenge--the high ceiling and hard surfaces make it difficult to hear your dining companions or the waiter. But the food is delicious. Butter chicken, tikka masala chicken and several curries are all items we would happily order again. There are a few varieties of naan, which were just okay but helped to serve up the delicious sauce. Unfortunately we had the same waiter at both visits and he could practice a bit more customer service. He interrupted conversation every time he came to the table, starting to talk without giving us a moment to notice him, and this happened whether the restaurant was crowded or empty. And we never sat him smile. By contrast, the man we think is the manager or owner is very welcoming and has a great sense of humor. Overall, the food was what we came for, and that's what will bring us back.

The paneer pakora was tasty and the accompanying sauces went well with it. I enjoyed shrimp as an alternative to paneer. The butter curry was as good as any I've had. The gulab jamun put the perfect finishing touch on the meal. By six o'clock on a Saturday, the restaurant was packed. The service was impeccable and all of the staff were quite friendly. The restaurant had exactly the right combination of coziness and sophistication.

my girlfriend has told me how good indian food is and when we saw that this restaurant opened we were excited to try it, i've been told indian spices are really spicy but when i got the spiciest sauce they had that shit was mediocre. Food was served lukewarm, and tasted REHEATED also the garlic naan tasted like the naan from albertsons. I had a piña colada and that shit was honestly so bad. Service was eh alright i suppose, when i went with my girlfriend there was only like another couple in there , pretty dead. but WOULD NOT recommend coming here.

I’m honestly giving it a 5 stars because the food was amazing! We got these crispy chicken things with the best sauces! So yummy. My drink was a bit on the sweet side but I ordered a sweet bevy. The desserts really stole the show. The service was impeccable. Speedy, kind, funny. I think the only thing I would have changed - the lights were a little bright. But that’s just a preference. It’s the only reason I gave the the atmosphere 4 stars.

Great food and service. I think at night the lighting is too bright. Too many fluorescent lights . Otherwise I loved it and I will return ?

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They also allow you to pick your spice level on the dishes.Kid-friendliness: They were very accommodating to our 9 month old. The kids menu is a bit limited with chicken nuggets and fries but a very decent portion was provided and drink included.
