5/5, I gave the man no information besides liking red wine and brandy, he came back with 2 bottles I loved and 1 bottle I liked for about 50 dollars. A great establishment with a great owner.

My wife and I stopped by Woodard Wines on our way through town and were both really impressed with Jeff and his shop. Not only is he personable he is also very knowledgeable and took the time to answer our *many*questions. I have been to countless wineries and often times there is a pretentious vibe- not here! He has some pretty sweet/ hard to find wines at his shop and we walked away with a mixed case of wine. I am definitely coming back next time I am in McMinnville.

Hi! I'm wondering if this shop is still open? I've been through McMinnville more than a few times and tried stopping during posted hours and they have been closed. Does anyone have any information on actual hours? All posts or website blog comments are all from 2014. I'm only giving it 2 stars because I had to choose a star and didn't want to ding with only 1 as I think the business concept is amazing and I'd love to learn more.....just wish they were open.

I visited Woodard Wines this past Saturday, January 17th with some friends for some wine tasting and had a great time! Jeff, the owner, offered up several samples both local and imported. He's friendly and very knowledgeable of the wines and their history. He doesn't mind taking the time to help you find just the right wine(s) for you. His wine studio is beautifully decorated, sophisticated, yet very comfortable and relaxing. If you want to get away from the big wineries and tasting rooms, go visit Jeff in downtown McMinnville. He's even got great dinner restaurant recommendations!

Pleased to post what appears to be the first Yelp review of this shop. My wife and I have visited a couple of times on our last two tripsp to McMinnville. It's great to visit the winery tasting rooms, but if you crave variety and an excellent range of price without sacrificing quality, this is a great place. The proprietor really knows what he's talking about, and is friendly and affable in sharing his expertise. This tasting room/wine retailer is a "must-stop" in downtown McMinnville. the best selection of wines on third Street, or anywhere in town.
