One of you clowns left the sign out on the street corner today. Here's to hoping it gets jacked by one of the zombies out there. ?

2020: Highly recommend. We brought in a coupon that turned out to have been printed without the bakery’s permission, and they gave us some pound cake for free to make up for it.2024: the service was terrible today. I waited a while before anyone came over to seat me. The server seemed frustrated when I didn’t offer a drink. After bringing my food, she never checked on me. I had to flag someone down to pay for my meal. I ordered a biscuit and gravy. The gravy was warm, not hot, so it was quickly not very enjoyable to eat.

Stopped for a late breakfast today around 11 a.m. and was quite busy inside. Save room for their pastries from the front counter! 2 of us were seated and provided water quickly, with tatsty coffee soon after. Food came out quickly. I had a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwhich, which had tomato and I believe arugula, which was delicious and filling. The biscuit was fluffy and tasty. My partner had a similar sandwich and said it too was very good. The wait staff was friendly and provided service with urgency. Will definitely go back. The front counter had pastries and cakes that looked amazing, but we were too full to try them. Until next time.

Not a good experienceHad been for brunch but staff behaviour too rude and arrogant...had lot of expectations on our return trip from Portland.Seats were available but not provided ....not ready to take advantance order so that we save our time.We went their seeing Google ratings. But very much disappointed.Food too turned out to be average taste.Took a take out and sat on bench outside and ate there?

Truthfully- good food and a cool little spot. It’s a shame the service is so poor, the reviews speak for themselves.

The food was tastie, but the prices were outrageous, in my opinion. I never thought someone would get away charging $15.00 for biscuits and gravy with one egg, and that someone would pay that much, but I foolishly did, so I guess that is why they can charge that much. People keep going and keep paying the crazy prices.

It wasn't busy, but we still waited over 40 minutes after ordering our food and finally just left. We told the person at the host desk what happened on the way out, and he just blank stared at us and literally said nothing. The food is ok but very lacking on service. Also, don't think they should bring in the dog water bowl, fill it in the bar sink, and then go straight back to wrapping silverware without washing their hands.

Service was AWFUL. AWFUL. Same for the prices!!! WOW. $18 for a biscuit with egg n sausage - and that's all you get. Three of us went, they seated three tables that came in AFTER us and looked right at us every single time! We sat there waiting, for nearly 40 minutes & they were NOT BUSY. And YES. There were tables for 3 available! Finally said something and got seated and had to wait again for another 15-20 for our drinks and to order. Again, NOT BUSY. Kitchen wasn't busy either. PERFECT view of it. They must have forgotten to put the order in because after waiting another 30-45, we asked about the food. Said they were putting it on plates now. That's when they actually put our order in because it was another 20 at least before the food came out. My food and my friends were cold cold. My husband's was hot and he ate it. We asked for our 2 meals to be removed from the bill. And that's all they took off with an apology. Could have at the very least comped our drinks for wasting 2 hours of our lives there. Left hungry and went to Crackin and Stackin where we had an absolutely amazing breakfast. Definitely support small businesses, BUT, the customers need the support of the small business also. We will NEVER go to Buttercloud again. NEVER.

To show up and be told one cannot be seated (during a slow timeframe with open tables) while they wait for their guest to arrive is unfortunate. Policy should come with common sense. Had she been seated and been able to order our drinks and meals we would have stayed. Will not support a local business that is rude to patrons. We left.

I was not on butter cloud while I ate here. Mildly disappointing. Overall, everything was more than adequate though. Would go again under the right circumstances.

Went in on a Sunday. They told us they were short staffed asked us to wait 25 min. PeopleWho came in after us were seated and served first. Food was good, had biscuits with sausage and gravy. Bacon was really good. Had a Bloody Mary, garnished were excellent, hoping from a little more from the drink itself.
