La Reina del Taco? No, pero El Rey del Taco? Yes! This restaurant made you feel like a king with the great food and service provided. Mi Reina and I decided to go grab some tacos. We both had Al Pastor con queso, Carne Asada con queso, Camarón con cebolla tacos con queso. Those dishes were delicious and savory. The ingredients were fresh and hand made, not store bought at all. The parking was plentiful. Lots of options to choose from. The service was exemplary. Our server was also bilingual, which is great if you are not fluent in Spanish and makes the experience more inviting to all people. Overall, I would definitely go back for another round of tacos!

This place always hits the spot! Service is quick, food is fresh, delicious and authentic, and prices are decent! Today we had lunch here and tried Al Pastor, Carne Asada and Camarón con Cebolla tacos. All super delicious with hand made tortilla. Something about their sauces is amazing too. Not extremely spicy but with a kick. The Chips & Salsa they serve in the beginning is so good too. You can tell the chips are freshly made in house. Portions are huge. Service was super friendly and helped me with all the questions I had. There's also so much parking around it. We came in for a quick lunch so we only had their tacos but I will definitely be back and try the tortas!

Super good food. Their tacos are pretty good, so are their quesadillas de tortilla de maíz. Their shrimp burrito is bomb! Service is pretty good. The interior has is very cute, and it was recently painted outside, so it is even cuter now. Have been coming here for years and the food never disappoints.

got four types of their tacos and unfortunately was not a big fan of their corn tortillas. they were pretty thick and drew away from flavor. would def recommend the al pastor, but skip the chicken and carnitas bc those were dryyy. salsa verde was gooooddd. if you get chips and queso, add jalapeños to the queso. flavor wise, still wasn't the best and the chips were slightly stale. can't attest to service or ambiance as we did uber eats.

Ordered the Fajitas and they were delicious. I might even say the best I've ever had. You will not be disappointed! Super good tacos. I had the shrimp and was pleasantly surprised it came with a small salad and fresh pico. I thought I loved the salsa at La Fonda. This place beats them any day. I'm definitely coming back

SO good. I had the cheese dip and guacamole with chips split with my boyfriend. For my entree, I got three mini tacos--al pastor, carne asada, y lengua. Yup, beef tongue; very very delicious. I washed it down with a michelada that was perfectly made with a modelo especial. I could go on and on about the delicious and indeed authentic food, but the service is also worth mentioning. The wait wasn't bad and well worth it. Our server was great, and she kept us happy with fresh chips and salsa. The dining area/seating was clean and cute. The food tho...will be returning 100%.

Hands down one of the best mexican restaurants in OTP! It gets busy during weekend. Expect 20 to 30mins wait. (They do have a queue system with text updates). They changed the menu since i have last been here. Now serving tacos, quesadilla, fajitas and lots of sea food options. The chips and salsa are one of the best IMO. The food is outstanding. We got to try the tacos and mini quesadillas. Highly recommend the mini ones which are made with in house corn tortilla. (They are about the size of tacos - check pic for reference). Cant beat the prices! Very affordable. Parking can be tight. Park in the nearby complex (Google maps set to Arepa or Cuckoos cafe).

Really loved this meal! Chips and salsa come free, we added guacamole and queso, which were really really yummy. The guac was chunky with onions and tomatoes, but they weren't overpowering the avocado. Fried fish taco was my favorite. Comes with red onions, a pico de gallo mix and some lettuce. The fish was nice and crispy and light. Al pastor con queso was a bit on the salty side but otherwise really yummy. Carnitas with chorizo was a good combo. The carnitas were moist enough but I could see it being on the dry side some days. The beans and rice were my favorite part of the meal. The refried beans were so delicious and the rice was so flavorful. I loved that the tacos were served with sautéed onions. They also have an avocado crema and homemade hot sauce on the tables. Both very delicious but beware - the hot sauce is really spicy!! I loved it and added a touch to each of my tacos. The service was decent - we had to wait around 15 mins for our table and they asked us to wait in our cars, which I understand since it was pretty full during the lunch rush. Since they seem to be pretty popular they should definitely create some kind of waiting area. The wait staff seemed quite rushed and moved quickly but again understandable with the lunch rush. The seating area is spacious and lively with the murals and TVs showing sports. There's parking for the entire shop lot and other eateries around!

El rey del taco is located in Buford hwy and known in atlanta for being a taco and margarita spot! They do have free parking but it is always crowded in the plaza so be aware. This time we noticed they had really nice renovations and it was brighter and pretty inside. I will say maybe we need to try seafood next time because we didn't love our meal. I got Al pastor tacos and barbacoa and both did not taste fresh and were dry. I also got guacamole and that was good

Delicious but can most times be entirely too loud in there. It's too small on the inside to have the music that loud. I like to converse with the person o I'm eating with but the atmosphere is not conducive to that need. The food is good so if you like to be social with your company, get your food to go. Entirely too loud in there. Another negative is they don't have coffee and that throws me off but the food is good.

My absolute favorite place to get tacos. The most authentic, there's a lady literally making tortillas fresh in the kitchen. Cabeza is my top choice, pastor is good, carnitas, carne asaada are all delicious. Also try the tortas, and nachos are the best. Great frozen drinks, margaritas, or just a shot of tequila. 10/10 recommend. They stay open really late too, but they can get busy! Eat up!

The food is fire. Tacos are delicious, and their burrito is craaaazy good. Big portion, good price. Our server was nice, and even the staff who don't speak English are very kind. The restaurant can be super busy, but it's definitely authentic and have that family feeling to it. The restaurant has a cozy and a warm feeling. I would 100% go back and eat there again when given the chance.

Finally, a legit taqueria ! House-made tortillas, cabeza, lingua, pastor, barbacoa and all the things. LA transplant approved.
