Holy moly, what a delicious cake! I got my brother his birthday cake at the last minute. It was in the style of Trés Leches, with peaches and strawberries, with a whipped cream frosting. I just grabbed it out of their cooler, and I'm so impressed. I also got a fresh buñuelo (rosette) that was so light, crispy, and delicious! Will definitely be getting more cakes from Good Morning Panaderia.
Yooooo. This place is dope. I'm a little baffled by the reviews. I'm used to grabbing Mexican pastries in the Mission district in San Francisco, and I'd say that this place is honestly on par in terms of quality and how kind everyone is. I'm yet to try something that has disappointed me, and I've had everything from run out the door pastries and coffee to their strawberry cake. After reading the reviews, I think some of them just had literally no idea what they were ordering....read full review

I've not had their cakes, but I'm a gringa from California where tamales are very competitive & the choices are plentiful, so I'm very picky! This place has the best tasting, freshest tamales here in the Rouge valley, and the store is very clean. They have chicken, pork, chili & cheese & I can't wait to try the corn & the sweet ones too.
