Not sure how I haven't reviewed this place yet. One of our favorite breweries in Portland and they're so close to home! Bartenders are always nice and patient since there's so much to look at. They offer little tastings which is always nice and they talk to you about what you're looking for to better help you decide. The atmosphere is always super chill, not too loud either. You can bring food in which is fun (we recommend MaKin Thai & Sushi down the road). And even when it's packed it's still chill. It's fun to watch the regulars interact with the bartenders (and I think we're becoming regulars too). Oh and the prices are great. They're good people serving good beer!

What a great professional and fabulous brewery. We traveled the country for two months, googling “breweries near me.” This brewery was our favorite for selection, taste, and atmosphere-of all of them. Wish they would open in NC, now that we are home!!

I was a little skeptical based on the random location but I loved this brewery! Everyone was so friendly and they LOVE dogs here. So many doggos it was amazing. Beer was great too! Definitely a fun place to hangout!

My favorite brewery in Portland. This spot was a somewhat hidden gem for a couple years, then people drank the beer and found out how good it is. Now it's typically packed with thirsty folks. Always friendly servers.
Breakside is still the best and most consistent brewery in Portland, but the bartender here today (8/5 @ 5pm) makes being here miserable.Yelling at a lady about a dog, rolling eyes at a customer asking for a coaster, not speaking to customers at all. I said hi to him twice and he just stared with a scowl, didn’t even speak during my order.Breakside, don’t let this guy push your customers away.

Fantastic visit. Just flew in from Virginia so this was one of the first stops. Steve was a great bartender. Very friendly (as was everyone). Very hospitable .Good brews. Flight and pints were great. Hope to go back sometime.
