Great food. Brisket, make it a sandwich. Excellent food. Came out like a tall slider for $10. More than enough for a lunch if you add a side of wedges or Mac n cheese. Slaw is vinegar base just a heads up. Girlfriend loved it I'm not much of a vinegar guy but was great on the sammich. She had just brisket and said it was delicious. Don't feel like driving to Matt's bbq? Come here instead it's a solid choice. Mac n cheese tasted home made gourmet type. Pretty tasty. I'll have to come back to try the other meats. We had a great meal, prepared & served by great people who didn't mind that we lingered for a couple of hours ?We did sliders and BBQ beans this time, but the tacos are delicious too! Chicken, beef, pork - choose freely because they're all good.
The BBQ is great. My sugestion are the burnt ends and brisket. If you go on the weekend you can get them eggs bennidict style which in phenomenal! And they had frech toast with fresh berry's which was very good! Very nice service. Would recomend!
Awesome place! Catered my son’s 21st birthday and everything was amazing! The brisket is to die for! Yes it’s expensive, but not unreasonable for the quality. Highly recommended!
Officially, I’m naming this place as the best spot for perfectly smoked brisket this side of the continental divide and easily the best in five years of living in Portland. The pit master,from LA of all places, was trained well or either is just a natural. We had great conversation and swift service in this Quonset house of smoke. The dining area isn’t large but if this quality of bar-b-que was served in Asheville North Cackalackey then it would be called 12 Bones and Obama would visit if nearby. About the only thing lacking on the menu was collard greens or black eyed peas. I really hate to tell everybody about this place because I would like to return without waiting in line. But as I can’t keep a keep a secret about a place right off a public street, it would be too selfish to not advertise for these fine folks. Thanks Y’all! And go Bravos because the cook wears an old Atlanta hat.

Holy smokes...stop here if you want to be happy after you eat. Haven't had anything "sub-par". The people that work here are lovely and clearly want you to eat their mouthwatering bbq. Treat yourself. It's worth it ten fold.
I've eaten smoked meats all my life, but this food is unlike anything I have ever had. No disrespect to my own father, but the people behind these smoked foods are incredible and GENIUS. I am beyond impressed with the flavor of each item I had the privilege of trying out. First I'll start with the brisket slider. Just based off the smell I knew I was going to be blown away. I was immediately on a joyride of flavor with my first bite. The perfect amount of smoke flavor, combined with the juiciness of the meat, as well as the crunch from the slaw made that slider absolutely to die for. The potato wedges are a MUST. The rub that's on them is unlike any flavor I've had on wedges before. Dipped in their ranch makes for the perfect bite every time. I had to try a bite of my partner's burnt ends slider and that was EVEN BETTER. I'm a huge fan of fatty meat and this was just loaded with flavor. If I could try a slider with a piece of brisket and pork belly burnt end mixed, I'm pretty sure I would truly be at peace in life. By the time I was finished with my slider and wedges I was more than satisfied and full, however I had to find out what their smoked key lime pie was like. I'm not a key lime pie fan, but holy smokes this was an extremely delicious pie. The smoke, lime, and creaminess of the filling is the absolute perfect balance of flavor. The crust brings it all together to give you a subtle sweet flavor and bit of crunch throughout your whole bite. I truly could go on and on about this food and I definitely need to try every item on the menu in the future. The staff here is worth a whole other paragraph of positive words. Immediately being greeted by friendly voices who seemed happy that we were there was very comforting. Excellent counter service when taking our order and even came back out multiple times to check on how we were doing! Absolutely beautiful vibe and chill music on, highly recommend for a quick bite or a nice dinner!! Grateful I found this place!
I drive by everyday, going to & from the gym. I finally gave in tonight & I’m so glad I did. I tried the brisket slider, brisket, jojo’s, cesar salad, mac & cheese & corn bread — Portions were big, flavors were bold, everything was so good!! Love that smoky flavor!! The atmosphere inside was welcoming, super laid back. Felt homey. Staff was really nice & helpful. I know that I’m going to have a taste for this again… so glad it’s nearby!!
