My husband got the garlic chicken and I got the ahi tuna. I thought the chicken bowl was dry and the tuna not the best, fatty and just okay.

My wife found this place on yelp. Had great reviews and now we know why. I had Hurricane Chicken and Pulled Pig, my wife had the Hurricane Chicken and Garlic Chicken. It came with rice and Macoroni salad. We liked the macaroni salad so much we got an additional side of it. It was really peppery which we love. We really liked the Hurricane Chicken too!

Lived in Hawaii 4 years - ate plenty of ono chow. Hawaiian plate lunch isn't legit without mac salad. The Chicken is 100% fried - only good rice and fried chicken that lacked flavor. Really disappointed - having read all the reviews, raised my expectations, but fell 100% short. Sorry Sista.

My husband and I were in the Monmouth area so we looked up on Yelp to find a place to stop and grab a bite and we saw this place had real high ratings so we stopped and I tried the Mixed Plate where you could get two of any of the items listed above on the board for $16 I chose the hurricane chicken and the garlic chicken and they were both delicious! My husband ordered the Kahlua Pig and the hurricane chicken and he thought they were both very good. It came with two scoops of rice and a very small container of macaroni salad that was heavy on the mayonnaise as Hawaiian macaroni and salads are and this one had a lot of pepper. We actually ended up getting a large side of the macaroni salad because it was really good mixed in with the rice. We would definitely stop again. Oh I also tried the Musubi which I had seen in several Hawaiian restaurants but had never tried it it has a thin slice of fried spam over rice and then surrounded with seaweed and it was delicious! They were $3 for one or two for five and I would definitely have it again. We have at least enough for another meal.

Have had great experiences here previously but today was a big disappointment. Waited over 40 minutes for my food. I was walking up to the counter to ask for a refund and to cancel my order when my food happened to come out. Not a knock on the quality, it was very good, but dine-in wait times should never be that long, let alone a food truck.

Unreliable hours. Tried to stop by on Monday. Please update your business hours so customers don't waste their time. I really wanted to try your food due to reviews but you need to keep your info updated on media. There were 3 other customers before me that were there before reported opening hours that left thinking you would open according to your Google hours. I was on my work lunch break waiting and had to skip it and miss the 30 minutes pay. I'll definitely stop by at some point but please do better.
