I have to say this place is quite amazing. Every time I come in, they are always so kind and welcoming. The food never fails! It always tastes great. I’m not sure if the sauce’s such as the ranch and gyoza are house made but, I can never get enough. I 10/10 recommend, the teriyaki chicken and gyoza is my go too! Not to mention you get such a great portion for what you are paying!

Y'all need to do yourselves a favor and go on over there and get ya some of their food. You will not be sorry! The food is abundant and absolutely delicious. Prices aren't bad and the people there are so dang friendly. Love this place!!

Looks can be deceiving, so don't judge this book by it's cover! Nara is in a small building just off the main street on the west end of town. The interior looks like it hasn't been updated for decades, and only a few tables and chairs are available for patrons. But you'll not find better food at a better price anywhere in the Willamette Valley.Nara was a favorite for my son and his friends while they were in school at George Fox University. Even though he graduated several years ago, it's still a "must-stop" location whenever my wife and I are in Newberg.The menu is pretty simply, but the easiest option is to simply get the lunch special. You'll receive more teriyaki chicken than you need on a bed of rice, with a side of salad. The salad and dressing are surprisingly tasty. If you can, get some dumplings. The portions are large enough for two adults with smaller appetites to share.Don't be discouraged if the line is long. That's a sign of good food, and they generally have your food ready without too much delay. If you can't find a place to sit, it's easy to carry your meal out and find a park or bench somewhere else in Newberg.Parking: You won't find many parking spaces at the restaurant, but you can park on the street. Even if you have to park down the street a good distance, it's worth the walk.

I have been coming to Newberg for years to visit in-laws. They always took us to Jem 100. But upon moving here we decided to try Nara…what a find excellent food up and down the MenuFriendly service with very reasonable prices.
Food is yummy, reasonably priced.Parking: There's only a few parking spots.

Standard teriyaki place with quick and friendly service. I ordered chicken and gyozo. It came out quick and hot.
