Food was creative and excellent. Better than we expected. We did the wine pairing so we could explore more regional wines. Some wines were very good, but the syrah for the beef course was just too ripe and unstructured for our tastes. We'd love it if we could choose between a standard/intro wine pairing, and perhaps a more ambitious wine pairing. It's a small place, but perhaps they could offer that with the caveat that unless four people opt in, they will provide the standard option. Even so, it was totally worth it. Lovely service and wonderful experience, thank you!

This is the second time we've eaten here, but it's been about 7 years since our last visit. The quality of the food was excellent, but I left hungry. We eat coursed meals at Michelin starred restaurants numerous times a year, and I rarely leave hungry. Had to go back to the Jory at the Allison Inn & Spa and order a plate of truffle fries because I was still hungry after dinner. Wine pairings were good, but a little boring. Either my expectations have been elevated in the last 7 years, or the Painted Lady has lost a step. Still one of the best spots in Oregon wine country.

A very nice experience overall. Service was exemplary. The cuisine presentation was artful. Mushroom appetizer had rich, vibrant flavors but as courses progressed lacked depth and became watered down in the Miso custard ‘soup' tasting like plain hot water laying on top. Our favorite was the Caramelle Pasta! We also enjoyed the pineapple sorbet. Would absolutely recommend!

Owner was outstandingly rude and condescending.

The food was delicious, service excellent, impeccable wine, and a gracious host (Ryan). The chef? Tremendous! Highly recommend this spot. We will definitely be on the yearly to do list!

The Painted Lady exceeded all expectations we may have had. From the warm reception, to the exceptional staff and incredible courses- it was a wonderful evening. Recommend the dining experience there without hesitation.

We come atleast once a year and it's always a wonderful meal and experience. The sturgeon dish this time was the highlight of our meal. I'm never disappointed after having a meal here. High quality ingredients that are prepared to perfection in a creative and/or unique way

What a wonderful experience. From the second we walked in, we were well taken care of. The food was exquisite and seasonal. The service was warm AND professional - a hard combo to come by nowadays. We will definitely return and recommend to others as one for the best restaurants not only in the Willamette Valley, but in Oregon.

Each of our 7 courses (plus canapes and mignardises) was unique, diverse, and delicious. The staff is professional and thoughtful, and the setting is comfortable and attractive. We ordered the wine pairings (all from Oregon winemakers) and were delighted with the choices and ended up loving a wine that led us to our best tasting experience during our birthday wine weekend in the Willamette Valley. If you want the finest of dining experiences without any pretentiousness or attitude, The Painted Lady is your place. We could not have been happier with our experience there. Bravo!

This was our second visit to Painted Lady. The first in 2022 was impeccable, five stars across the board. Last night was just ok. Typically a very quiet restaurant, we unfortunately were seated next to a table that didn't recognize that. The food was good, but not great, same for the wine pairings. I ordered coffee with dessert, that never came. To their credit, I mentioned the coffee to our server and when the bill arrived there was a $100 credit, which was greatly appreciated. Even so, for the price the experience should be spot on and it was not. Bit of a disappointment unfortunately. The overnight stay in the Painted Lady cottage next door was great.

Back again after years out of state, we were pleasantly surprised at the innovation and quality of food included in the prix fixe dinner. Service remains top notch. The one sadness was the demise of table cloths, something our European roots consider obligatory at this level. (Yes, I know even Michelin starred restaurants are piling on the trend. But, this wonderful old house deserves more than polished austerity!)

A lovely, lovely dining experience in Newberg, OR. Set in a converted Victorian, it has an elegant atmosphere which fits perfectly with the cuisine. Modern NW cooking without pretension. Clever use of unique NW ingredients (fungi!) The prix fixe menu and OR wine pairings are the way to go. Service is absolutely superior and knowledgeable.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible (old house!)

The price was higher than it has been before. I understand the cost of things has gone up, but the cost was a little higher than I expected. Overall, it was a great experience and a very fun time.
