Ample parking, nice ambience, and great service, but the star of this restaurant is their food. I've been trying clam chowders and fish 'n chips along the Oregon Coast, and this was one of the best. The clam chowder was creamy and flavorful with plenty of clams. The fish was flaky with a nice crunch. So delicious!

We had Mo's and Fish Peddler. Fish Peddlers chowder and other dishes were beyond better. Lots of clams and lots of flavor. Would definitely come back here when we come back. Plus they weren't as busy at Mo's.

I have to admit that the clam chowder that they have is the best I have tried in newport and in the west coast. Although a little more thick (a signature for oregon), it challenges classic SF's fisherman's wharf clam chowder. Portions may seem a bit small, but they are incredibly filling!

It is a great place for fresh seafood and accessories and meet wonderful staff.
We stopped by here for lunch at the recommendation of one of the people in the shops we stopped in. So glad we did. Probably the best chowder we had while on the coast. The fish and chips were good but a little heavily breaded for my taste. The fish tots were just weird but I had to try them. The salmon dip which we took home with us was delicious and very fresh. Don't walk by this place. Stop!!

Clam chowder was YUMMYFUL and the saving grace. If it wasn’t for the clam chowder, I’d given this place a 3 star rating. The deep fried halibut was thick on breading and the fish seemed not fresh as there was a fishy smell. With fresh seafood the smelly fish is almost non-existing. The service was good as the lady brought the food to our table. Atmosphere was typical Newport seaside.Parking: The place has free parking spot for few customers and also available free street parking on a first come basis.

Everything was shut down but the kind lady at the front fired up the grill for us, even an extra customer afterward. We got a clam chowder and a crab melt, both were amazing and flavorful. Our experience was extra special.
