We always try to visit this place when we are in the area and recommend it to friends. Our experience with Open Table was not good and we are told by Local Ocean they no longer use it for their reservation system.
We loved, loved, loved our waiter. And the hostess was awesome. However, given that we had a reservation and had to wait 30-40 minutes past that reservation time, standing around, UGH. That was difficult with a group of 8 and only a few chairs for waiting and them being filled. The food was awesome of course! And, we had our BEST EVER waiter at LO this visit. Local Oceans was fantastic! Great atmosphere, great service and a reasonable price for really high quality and fresh seafood. The selection of beers, ciders and wines was extensive.
