I grew up with Rodriquez bread since the 70s.We would wait for the van and my mom would yell "aqui viene la panadera"!!Oh the smell of fresh bread and an array of colors. What I loved the most is how soft the bread is.I moved to Florida and miss the bread from Idaho. Here they sell it but it's hard and there is no pumpkin in the empanadas.Miss you all! From Sunny Florida!!

The best time, I have experienced, to get fresh empanadas is in the early morning. Yum!

I guess people of low income don't have the privilege of fresh baked goods. I went to attempt to buy pan for my 2 yr old daughter using the EBT card. But was told they don't accept that payment method. Red barn produce as well as other local bakeries accept EBT. We're able to purchase Rodriguez baked goods at stores what makes the difference of going to the main store in Fruitland.

Love their tortilla, salsa, chips

Love and hate these tortillas. They seem to mold immediately after buying them, and a lot of times rip when trying to get them apart. Great when they aren't torn or have mold though.

We have been using their yellow corn street taco tortillas and we are loving them! They LOOK different that the typical tortillas you buy at the grocery store. They look fresher and the taste is definitely fresh! Good quality products, good price, awesome flavor! Highly recommend!

Best pan dulce you'll ever have

I purchased a package of Rodriguez flour Tortilla's from a local store but forgot what store I purchased them from and going back to my most frequented stores I could not find them. They tasted so yum-- like home made. I want to locate a distributor in the Coeur 'd Alene, ID area. They truly are THE BEST tortillas of all time! I just read a review and noticed they purchased Rodriguez Tortilla's at Winco. I'll have to check them out.Thank you Rodriguez Bakery for THE BEST Tortilla's! Let's get the word out!
Got some at a local store and they're moldy. They were made a week ago and every single one was at least 1/3 covered in thick mold. What a waste. They shouldn't go bad this fast

This family owned and operated bakery also makes among the best tortillas of all time. That is not hyperbole but fact. IMHO. Their business was originally just across the border of Idaho in Nyssa, Oregon but created the bakery store in Fruitland, ID sometime in 2021'ish. (I think I have the year right.) I have not yet made the hourlong trek to this location, Nyssa OR was closer to my Boise area home than Fruitland, but I buy their fantabulous tortillas often because the Rodriguez family now distributes them to several Boise area Winco stores and also to an Albertsons or two and these tortillas are a key reason I shop in those stores from time to time. No lie. To buy Rodriguez tortillas. One of these days I'll make the pilgrimage to their store in Fruitland (open M-F from roughly7a to 3p) to buy salsa and some other goodies. In the meantime the mole coloradito pork for my Superbowl tacos will use Rodriguez tortillas. At the bakery store they sell corn tortillas in white and yellow. Flour tortillas too and also pan dulche and fresh made churros. Along with salsas and...PS for those in the Boise area - if you love the great tacos and tortilla chips at Madre Boutique Taqueria in Boise I understand Chef John Chavez uses Rodriguez tortillas. Madre tortilla chips are also sometimes available in bags at the Rodriguez bakery store. The story of the Rodriguez family patriarch who started this business and the family's tenacity and industry in overcoming hard times to make it so successful is another reason to love this business and the people who own it. therodriguezbakery.com/b… You can learn more at their website or via their FB page.
