We shared a barbacoa burrito and it very bland with no flavor. A lot of the meat was large chunks of fat. The salsa helped a little but we will not be returning ever!

Great place out of the way with authentic food! Dining area and lots of seating in the bar area. Our lunch was delicious with great flavors. The chips and salsa were excellent while we waited for the food. It looks and tasted like homemade!

I stop here every time I pass through. Some of the best Mexican food on this side of the border. Everything is made fresh with quality produce and ingredients, and it shows in the flavor and quality of the food. Everything is delicious and traditional Mexican. The Barbacoa is absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. They have a bar in the back you can sit in if you prefer. This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the entire country. The only way it might get any better is if you had the gulf waters rolling on a white sand beach next to the place. Instead, you’ve got a truck stop. Inside, you’d never know the difference. It’s that good.Vegetarian options: You could easily order something without meat.Parking: Small paved parking lot, next to very large gravel lot, next to truck stop. No shortage of parking.Kid-friendliness: Bar in the back, restaurant up front. Kid friendly.
