We went in with a toddler and an older kid.The lady at the counter had a bit with an attitude, not smiling, not welcoming us in like in other mcmenamins (we have a passport). The place was pretty empty, only one more table. We went in and started ordering a drink while we got settled and we started feeding the toddler some plain chicken that we brought for her because she is on a special diet and she was pretty hungy. The lady saw the food and told us that there was absolutely no outside food allowed. She said she could sell us the chicken by the breast. We had to leave. I could understand if you bring food for adults and you are taking out their business on food, but come on, a small piece of chicken for a toddler? After this we went to the west Lynn location and had no problem with bringing in chicken for the toddler, they were smiling and happy to help, it was like night and day.Dietary restrictions: Nope.Kid-friendliness: Nope.

The Blackberry cider was excellent! Will go back just to enjoy that again. Also, I want to try the sliders. They looked good but we opted for a salad. Waitress was kind enough to split it for us. Love the decor and outdoor seating, especially on a warm sunny day.

Tasty food, nice staff who were very busy due to crazy cramped seating and upon entry, the descending stairwell was a bit of a hazard. The menu for happy hour doesn't give prices-- it just states $3 off.....Not clever; Just annoying. I expected better. Please put the condiments and sugars back on the table...the staff are running enuf.Parking: Saturday & Sunday have free street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Too tight for wheelchairs...I am visually impaired but lucky to have attentive friends. Parked on street.

The food here is very tasty, but for the price it felt like the portions were very small. Ordered fish and chips, which came with two pretty thin/small pieces of fish.Otherwise I had no complaints. Decent beer selection. Would still consider going back.

Literally one of the worst restaurants I have been to in my entire life. The reviews don't lie- the service is TERRIBLE. It looked like they only had one waiter, so I understand the struggle to keep up but the waiter and what I assume was the manager were so horribly rude. The manager who took our order was cold, snappy, and seemed like she didn't even want us there. I heard her greet another table much more kindly so I'm not sure what was different about us. They were out of lemonade, and instead of apologizing or even offering other options she didn't even look at me and simply said "I don't have lemonade." Wtf?? The food was as expected disgusting, with a burnt burger patty and overdone tots. We waited 45 minutes to get the food. This place is just a mess and I have a soft spot for mcmenamins so it's sad how terrible this location is. Please do not go here!

Of all the locations this one is the worst. There are only maybe 6 parking spots, the rest are either street pay to park or part of city hall. Worst thing and most confusing is that they do not allow dogs on the property including on the outside patio. We have a small licensed service dog so we sat outside, I went inside to let the server know where we will be sitting as the sign said "seat yourself", She said she would be there in a few minutes. About 30 minutes later she came to our table and we were asked to leave because dogs are not allowed on the premises. We got our stamps and left. It wasn't busy at all, there were maybe 2 other people sitting and having a drink. Every location I have been to is dog friendly except for this one.

I recently visited McMenamins over the weekend, hoping to enjoy a meal as I had in the past. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite being a longtime patron before COVID-19, it's evident that the restaurant has struggled to maintain its previous standards. From the moment we placed our order, it was apparent that something was amiss. Our waitress completely botched our order, resulting in a series of errors that left us feeling frustrated and disappointed. Not only did she get our main dish wrong, but even after sending it back, the replacement burger was also prepared incorrectly. To make matters worse, the side dish we ordered was never brought to our table, and despite mentioning it to the waitress, it never materialized.Overall, the lack of attention to detail and the inability to fulfill even the most basic aspects of our order was a total letdown. It's disheartening to see a once-reliable establishment falter in such a manner. Regrettably, based on this experience, I have no intention of returning to McMenamins in the future. However, for those seeking an alternative dining option, I would highly recommend checking out Verdict Bar and Grill, which is conveniently located just one block away. In my experience, they consistently deliver excellent service and delicious meals, making them a reliable choice for a satisfying dining experience.

Had a great burger with some Mac and cheese. Our server was very nice and friendly. The lighting inside had a soft tone that was delightfully calming.

My daughter, granddaughter, and I had an awesome night out here. The food was wonderful, and our server was just the right combination of pleasant, informative, and respectful of our time as well as hers.

The people leaving bad reviews seem to be the type of people who are sad :,( that the servers aren't wiping their dirty lip. The servers are great, and the food is delicious.

Nice view, good cider, small parking lot. Wasn't very busy, stopped on my stamp collecting journey. Paid for street parking and had a cider flight and food, with a good view of the river.

Lovely old building converted into a great little pub in typically cool-and-funky Mcmenamins style. The art here is particularly interesting and unique. The food was particularly good, as far as the stable, solid Mcmenamins pub grub menu goes. Seems like the kitchen staff gave it just a little extra care and that goes a long way!
