Gluten free designated drier is a rare find, and their GF fish n chips are among the finest around! Great people, all house made slaws, etc. Fantastic!!!!

The Highland Stillhouse was an outstanding place for a first date! The building was impressive from the outside and I was blown away when I went inside, everywhere I looked were visual treats to take in. There were so many rooms to explore, even an upstairs, and the bathroom was really spacious and cool.I am looking forward to coming back again and trying some food ?

Hearing American 70s rock upon entering and not the Scottish music once played should have been foretelling of what was to come.Ignoring the warning, my wife and I brushed it off and picked up the menu and ordered: We started off with Scotch Eggs, which were good, then came Scottish Hug Wings, which were pork sharks in a Branston pickle sauce (was a little strange having the heated up sauce). To try to keep the experience of being in a Scottish pub, I ordered fish&chips, which were thin 3" strips of beer batted fish with starchy chips and a salad slaw (shredded cabbage, with carrots and a dressing poured over). My wife ordered the Steak and Mushroom Pie, which came looking like soup! When checking with the waitress, she was surprised and brought out a biscuit to cover the top! How is that a pie? My wife stated it was more of an onion soup with an overbaked biscuit.Next, hoping to salvage the meal, we ordered the bread pudding, which used to be a joyful experience, but not so much anymore: It came out in a cup, lacked sauce, was devoid of raisins and just missed the mark.Experience: 3Quality: 3Flavor: 2Service: 4Atmosphere: 4Value: 3Parking: There are about 10 spots in their lot and a fair amount of street spots.

Great food. When they are busy it can be hard to find parking and the seating is a little cramped with my two boys over 6'. But overall great place, good food, nice ambiance.

I was unable to eat here without my id during daylight hours, even with a photo of it. Second time this has happened to me. I'm obviously 30 years old. Check out my photo if you think I'm lying, it's only 4 years old.

Fantastic and complete list of hundreds (1000’s?) of whiskies from around the world. We had a custom built flight, designed by Paige, the most knowledgeable and friendly hostess I have experienced. A fine evening out. Foods included delicious selections of Cod, Calamari, Bangers and Mash and Beef Pastie. Also we enjoyed a traditional Scottish egg. Go there, but plan on giving it time to taste. And ask to be seated in Paige’s section!

Wonderfully quaint place with a great menu and an overwhelming whisky menu. Great atmosphere inside is enhanced with a perfect view of the dam. Great for rugby and football matches!

OMG! had the beef pastie and chips(fries). It was freaking outstanding. The crust was flaky and tender and chewy. The fries were perfectly cooked, and the service was a tent, knowledgeable and treated you like you were their best friend! The atmosphere was wonderful like a great old Scottish pub. I had a spot of bother outside trying to catch a bus home and then manager Kenna was so concerned about me. She came outside and helped me resolve my issue. The nicest people you would ever want to meet. I have been back several times now and they treat me like family awesome place to come have food and listen to good music! the prices are reasonable, and everything else is outstanding! They also have flights of whiskey for you to try. It's a good way to try it different whiskeys, so you get to know about whiskey.

I love the cozy vibe here, and the whiskey selection, of course. The staff went above and beyond to check with the cook on my uncommon food allergy, and did so without making me feel like it was a hassle. Great

Four stars is probably a bit generous, but it has great ambience both inside and out and the service is great. The food is slightly above average. There's a great whiskey selection. Outside in the summer, there's a great view of the falls. This place has been here forever and I go at least once a year.
