“We've been here twice in three days. Their use of heirloom tomato inside their Marsee bagel breakfast sandwich is perfection to the tastebuds. Fresh squeezed orange juice hits hard as well. The service is excellent and friendly. Hope they're around for a long time.”

“Ended 2023 with Linner (lunch/dinner) at Squatchsami (eating in the Outpost). Wonderful Lingcod Fish and Chips and WORLD CLASS Clam Chowder (and got some Chicken for later). Oh, and they have Ice Cream and Cookies and other treats in the Outpost. Good People running it as well. Debbie is a kick and Ken cooks like a mad man (but loves it). Best to order online to make sure they have not sold out. They often do.”

“This place was fantastic. Super friendly staff, delicious food, good beers on tap, fantastic views. Very vegan-friendly menu, with excellent fried / chewy tofu especially. We got Tom Kah soup and pad see ew with tofu. Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of the food, it was too delicious and I ate it too quick. “This is a cute little place.Sweet gal took our order at the counter, then brought food to our table. It was very quick. Food was great, and lots of it. We had cod fish and chips. Yummy. Too full to have ice cream cone after.I'd go back when in Depoe Bay.”

“Clearly a local haunt based on who we same come through and where we got the recommendation. The food was great (loved the curry soup!). Definitely sit at the bar adjacent to the cooking area to watch the process, all steam cooking, exclusively electric, and the owners are very friendly.”

“Stopped by Crushed and Crafted randomly a few years ago, and it has now become a mandatory stop as part of our trips to the Oregon coast. Joey (and his wife who owns oceanography 101 next door) are delightful people and we can't recommend Crushed and Crafted enough.”

“Great little hole in the wall Burger joint, we usually go to the Lincoln City one and prefer it for the decent amount of seating. This one has only 4 tiny tables for 2 and their exhaust must have issues, we were just in there for 15min, but smell like part of the kitchen (clothes, hair everything). The burgers are great though and service was friendly.”

“I have never eaten an oyster I’ve liked until I came here. The oysters in black bean and ginger sauce were AMAZING. The broth it came in was fantastical, and the entrees were even better with the Mongolian stir fry and crispy chicken coming out piping hot and really tasty. “Wow my wife and I had take out from this place and it was amazing. The Ruben was totally different than your average Ruben. They have their own special twist and it was pretty darn good. It’s worth the visit. The service was fast and when you go don’t forget the banana dessert it made the trip there worth it. I’ll be back.”

“My wife and I had chicken cordon Bleu and steak. We splurged. It was 110% worth it. I was astonished at how good the food was. We also got a couple pastries to go and a couple English muffins. Everything was outstanding. If I come back through town you can be sure I'll stop here again.”

“Zach's Bistro was a revelation.We were expecting a rather ordinary meal and received the most interesting and well-prepared meal that I have had in years. I say "interesting" in the sense that everything had something unexpected or a twist on the usual that was both wonderful and surprising.Best of all, everything was gluten free and safe for me to eat.The chestnut soup, clam chowder, fried market fish, potatoes, squash, and perfectly cooked broccolini were all terrific. Even the butter tasted more "buttery" than any we've ever had. There seemed to be an excessive use of sprouts as garnish for my taste, but I'm not a fan of sprouts in any form.The food was served at the right temperatures and the main course plates were warmed. (I appreciate that very much.)The decor is unexceptional and the ambience is a bit spare, but the music was delightful and at a nice low volume, unlike too many places.The bill was surprisingly low for the quality of food and service we received.We plan to come down to Newport more often just to enjoy Zach's Bistro.Highly recommended.Dietary restrictions: Zach's Bistro is an excellent place for celiacs and the gluten intolerant. The whole menu was gluten free on the night that we were there.”

“I absolutely love this place! Tried it on a whim and will most definitely be going back. The food was outstanding! We tried the dumplings, ramen, chicken satay, and bento boxes. The ramen had organic pork and organic noodles. First of all, the flavor was wonderful. The food came out hot and fresh. I would have taken more pictures but we ate it so fast because it was amazing! My kids loved all of it. We did ask for anything spicy on the side and they were happy to do so. The staff was super friendly, knew the menu items in and out, did a wonderful job. They do have gluten free options. They change their menu with the seasons and I can't wait to go back for their spring menu!”

Husband and I have tried different dishes and all have been good like fish n chips, burger, salad, quesadillas. Pretzels and pickle chips are great starters. The wait staff is friendly and attentive.
