We were in town for the Real West Pendleton gravel race and got dinner after our packet pickup. They were busy and the wait staff did their best and was effective and friendly. The food was served 15ish minutes after it was cooked, so it was cold. The sweet potato fries were cold but also burnt, and our cocktails didn't seem to have any alcohol in them. I'd be disappointed if I got this quality of food at a dive bar, but at a very expensive brewpub I expected much better.

We came down for the Real West Gravel race and were very disappointed. We started out with mocktails, which would have been tasty if we had ordered mocktails. We ordered cocktails but what we were served had almost no booze. My wife ordered a grilled cheese, but was served a chilled cheese; she said she thought it had been cooked 30 minutes before it was served. I ordered a burger that was perfectly fine. It was served with completely burnt sweet potato fries. I asked for non-burnt fries and waz served even more burnt French fries. Oh, and it was expensive.

We came by Prodigal Son to pick up Mr. Wonderful’s race packet. Once we entered, we knew we’d be enjoying their food offerings. Spacious, welcoming environment - well lit and clean.Ella was our waitress and just by watching- we noticed she was taking care of the entire restaurant! She was friendly and efficient.Mr. wonderful. ordered the Pit Boss and it was cooked perfection. I had a patty melt, and it was equally as good. The sweet potato fries are what did it for me, they were perfect! We also wanted to give a shout out to Reannah who was very detail oriented in handling the entire bar area by herself - with so many beer orders!Great job ladies, you do this business proud! We will be racing up here again next year & plan on stopping at this establishment…. once again.

Nice friendly place in a small town with exceptional pub food. Worth checking out. Try the TX1000 sandwich and the sweet potato fries!

Drinks were excellent, and the food was delicious as always. The dipping sauce for the curds was on point, pairing well with the curds, and the jalapeño poppers were unique and tasty, made with a red jalapeño. Not shown were the Pit Boss burger, Fish and Chips, and The Countess sandwich, which were delicious as well. If you haven't been, you must. Well worth the wait for your food!

Beer and cocktails were tasty, but I wish they'd asked how I wanted my burger cooked. I prefer mine medium, but I got well done. Service was wonderful, so that helped.
