Was extremely excited to try this place out after reading the reviews, but was sadly disappointed. The service was only a 25 minute wait for our takeout order which was to be expected with how popular it was. Food was ready when we arrived to pick it up, but the fish and chips were not crispy at all, breading was kind of soggy. The fish itself was cooked well, but the fries were slightly soggy as well. Such a fun eatery! We had dinner here with our family of 8. The decor is entertaining all by itself.Our server did a great job of getting the food to us and attending to our needs, despite the fact that they were clearly understaffed when we visited. Food was good.I didn’t love the fish and chips, but it’s mostly because the batter wasn’t what I expected- there was a seasoning I couldn’t identify and I didn’t like that. Love this restaurant filled with local character. Food is cooked & made fresh, delicious, and locally sourced when available. Service is excellent, provided by local young adults who love living in our community. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with lots of local citizens. One of my main "go to" places when I don't want to cook at home.
