Great prices, amazing authentic taste and super friendly staff. On my first time today, I mentioned how bad my week had been and how excited I was for Mediterranean food, and they threw in a bunch of extras and made my day! I reccomend the vegetarian platter! I will be coming here a long time.

Insanely delicious place to eat. Honestly not sure how it doesn’t have 5 stars. Small, cozy atmosphere with an amazing owner who is very personable and attentive. Would 10/10 eat here every day if I could.

It was way more delicious than the last trip than ever. I used to regularly walk to the Food Villa market as a child and have been going to this little cafe ever since it opened. The service was nice, and we were even given a complementary desert. Great lunch break!

I met up with my future husband here after his first day of work due to the desire for something flavorful and new…yes, of course we were hungry. I saw the pictures of all the food on Google, the picture of the dancer showed me that this place has culture and good community. The high reviews of this place solidified my choice to go and give it a try.A good amount of parking, a clean lot and a homie feeling that welcomed us through its doors. There are ornamental lanterns, charms and trinkets of the Mediterranean culture that catches one’s eye and leaves you fixated. The owner kindly welcomed us in and to have a seat anywhere we liked. They have regular tables and cushioned booths decorated with pillows, which is where we decided to sit. As we were sitting we were given our menus, and immediately the mural on one side of the room had me daydreaming into a world outside of the US, into a place of beauty and history. Looking at the menu it was a challenge to choose what to eat, everything sounded delicious and full of flavor. I wanted it all! But we decided on the Flaffels which were served with Tzatziki and small slices of pickles ? So deliciously homemade. Before that we were served our option of soup or salad and both things were perfect. The lentil soup is something I will be getting again. I swear some people just slop it all in a bowl, but this place, everything about it was well thought out. The cook and the owner have a passion for cooking, you can tell by the presentation and how things are sliced. Everything is fresh. The seasonings are perfect. We never had to ask for anything because it was asked of us before we even thought of it. Wonderful service! Then the main course came…omg. Seared lamb shawarma with onion, yellow saffron rice and dipping sauce, excellent ⭐️ We were full but we ate the whole thing until our bellies hurt ? To top it all off, even after we declined dessert, he brought us the Christmas Baklava ? Such hospitality and customer service. A lady came in for an order to go and she said, “Take all my money hahahaha!” Then she looked around as she walked out and said for us to have a great night. When regulars come in and love the owner, you know this place is consistently good. ?I’m so happy we got to share this enjoyable experience together. My hubby even said this is one of the best places he’s been to. You got new regulars now! We’ll see you later!
After spending 50 plus dollars in this cafe, my mom was refused to use the bathroom due to "trashing the bathroom" my mom is a clean person and has never trashed a bathroom before let alone she was in there maybe 3 minutes. When we ask to use the bathroom again, we were told no. I will not be returning to this place the lady who runs this establishment was very rude and my mom ended up having a bit of an accident after the food went right through her. Bad vibes all around for me. I will be spreading the word about this to everyone I know.

I am writing on behalf of the Vancouver Mall location. These are the most humble, and generous restaurant owners you will find. I dropped my meal from different restaurant, and they came from around the corner to not only clean the mess but comp me a free meal.Random acts of kindness are becoming harder, and harder to find these days. It’s obvious to see that the owners aren’t only in it for the money. Also, their food is phenomenal!Check them out!

Excellent Lamb Gyro! Garlic fries were fun too. We were afraid to try a new restaurant but we will definitely be repeat customers to Aladin's cafe. The staff was friendly.
I can vouch for the "Lamb Swarma Sandwich" as being excellent. Grab extra napkins and roll up your sleeves, because the juice/sauce will be part of the experience. Try the "Chicken Swarma Plate" w/hummus instead of rice, again, excellent. And lastly, the "Garlic Fries w/Feta" are just too good.
Aladdin's is a great Mediterranean restaurant that might get overlooked because Portland has recently added a few new, trendy Mediterranean/Greek restaurants. Don't rule out Aladdin's. It offers delicious food at a great price. So many restaurants have substantially increased their prices. Not so at Aladdin's. The chicken kabob is flavorful, and the rice is amazing. The eggplant dish is delicious. The pita bread is baked onsite and is a nice addition to the meals.

I was so excited to come here. we drove for thirty minutes one way to eat here and we’re disappointed ? overall totally disliked the experience! black wilted disgusting lettuce pieces in my salad, pretty tasteless mezza plate, just overall not good food. I should mention i love armenian lebanese food. the server was trying to make us happy but the bowl for the soup that he brought had hair in it and he immediately changed it, the glass of water had something swimming in it, i didn’t tell the server because I felt bad to mention so many things. just pretty bland food and not very clean environment. the service took forever, but that’s because they only had one server and he was trying hard to attend to everyone, but their cardamom ice cream was excellent, pretty much the only thing that i thoroughly enjoyed

At first sight it's kind of stressful. Dead bug in the window, ceiling falling apart, dark and dusty seat. BUT don't walk away!!! The food is PHENOMENAL, the service is even better. The mint lemonade alone is worth coming back for and they DO have the best hummus in pdx.
