We loved working with Art of Catering for our wedding! Our event coordinator, Anna, was so positive and professional and fun to work with. I've been a vegetarian for almost 15 years and almost every wedding I've been to has had a disappointing stack of roasted vegetables as the veg option. I really wanted a wonderful vegan option for me and the other veg/vegan guests, and Art of Catering delivered! They made a chickpea crepe that was to die for. I heard their steak and fish dishes were equally delicious. We also had some guests who don't drink alcohol, and Art of Catering created some wonderful mocktails so those guests could have something gorgeous and festive to drink. The kids loved it, as well.Art of Catering also made little gestures on the wedding day that meant the world to us. They brought me a cocktail as I was waiting to walk down the aisle. When my husband and I stole away for a private moment after the ceremony, Anna had cocktails and a plate of appetizers brought over to us. The catering staff also brought ice cream to one of the kids who had to leave early and didn't want to miss dessert. They were professional and available without being intrusive. I truly can't say enough good things about Art of Catering and we felt so lucky that we got to work with them for our wedding day.

Amazing experience, from start to finish. We chose Art of Catering after they were referred to us by friends for a dinner party event for nearly 30 guests. The food and service were exemplary, as was the communication at every step of the process. They created a beautiful, memorable event for us. Would give them six stars if we could!

Absolutely wonderful catering for my brother's wedding - the hors d'oeuvres were so good - the dinner buffet was excellent - and the service was the best part. Highly recommended, 5⭐️, would eat here again

As a PDX wedding planner, I had the absolute pleasure of planning a wedding with my client and Art of Catering. From the planning meetings to the timely and respectful email correspondence, this team knocked every thing from planning through the couples wedding day out of the park. The team was flexible, kind, hard working and made the whole event run incredibly smooth. They have great knowledge, creative ideas and a positive and pleasant attitude towards vendors and couples. Can't wait to work with them again!

i worked here for a long summer and this job is absolutely horrible. 2 instances that come to mind from this place1. i worked a wedding hours away from portland, and one of the managers offered to drop people off at their homes after the event. days later, i went to my next catering job and apparently that manager was going around gossiping about the apartment i lived in and made fun of how poor and rough of a place it was. i was told by a worker who was also making fun of where i lived and how trashy it was. the classism is so gross. this catering job was my second job because rent had just gone up in portland and i live alone and haven't been financially supported since i was 16...2. the head chef (the short one, i think he's still head chef) was horrible to people. the "no talking in the kitchen" rule was only for servers (who didn't have a place to rest or relax when there was down time during the event EXCEPT the kitchens). the kitchen workers could talk and joke and laugh as much as they like. i didn't really care because i know cooking food needs concentration so WHATEVER right? but two people worked in the kitchen at this casual hawaiian themed catering event, one of them was the head chef. it was at a persons home and the kitchen was in the garage and the head chef and another chef were talking about life and vacations and nothing to do with the event or the food. so i wasn't thinking when i started humming and the other chef tells me i'm being annoying and she can't take it anymore and to shut up. mind you, most of the food was already cooked and they were just hanging out as i was scraping off a plate into the trash in the kitchen. i was mortified and shaking because i didn't even noticed i was doing it, there was no warning that i was being disruptive before she got aggressive, and they were able to chat just fine but im so out of hand for just humming as im working? i tell the main manager (who the woman chef is friends with outside of this job) because im crying at this point. i have autism and im a great worker, but confrontation, especially when i'm so surprised by it, is so hard to manage. so he goes to talk to them. after peter chatted with them (i saw him talking to them and it was more of a "ugh sorry guys but she's upset " kind of pow wow), i try to finish the shift and they don't apologize, talk to me, or even look at me the rest of the shift. and they are being SUPER nice to the other 2 servers now (who they weren't nice to BEFORE peter talked to them ). this place is gross, the staff is embarrassingly pretentious for the job they do, and im highly disappointed in the way they operate. i waited to post this until i got my W2 from this job because they seem like the kind of place to withhold important things if i were to critique them. anyway, i heard vibrant table catering is a great place!

If your seeking a job with this company definitely look elsewhere. Art Of Catering significantly lowered our hourly pay and informed us we would be getting a higher gratuity pay. It took over 2 months after one event to receive the gratuity pay and we are now over 70 days from working an event and still have not received any gratuity pay but just several excuses. This type of business practice will obviously reflect on their service practice.

We used Art of Catering for our rehearsal dinner with 65 guests. We held the rehearsal dinner in our backyard and Art of Catering were amazing in utilizing our space and knocking hors d'oeuvres, dinner and beverage service out of the park. They went above in beyond in more than a few ways. The food was fantastic and we felt very taken care of. Thank you for making our event special!

Awesome service. Great food.

I would NOT recommend this place to any one. Save your self some money and the embarrassment of your guests by the bullying staff hired by this company.

Art of Catering just catered our wedding and I highly recommend them. The service was excellent and the food was top notch. The Tri-tip was the best we have ever had. We had a tasting prior to the wedding where we sampled the menu. Art of Catering incorporated all of our feedback into the reception dinner and it truly made for a unique experience. They were also very helpful with all of the rentals. From lines to chandeliers they took care of it and made wedding day go smoothly!

Eric and the Art of Catering team have continued to impress me with their responsiveness, high quality service, and willingness to exceed expectations, and especially during COVID - a true test of character for a vendor.Eric has been incredible during our wedding planning - something that has put us at ease, and has made the process fun and exciting with possibilities.Eric also helped us coordinate a fundraising event for Cascade AIDS Project, and the event was a huge success. The Art of Catering staff were so welcoming to the event guests, kept everyone happy and having fun, and made the rooftop location the best spot to reconnect with everyone.Thank you, Eric and the Art of Catering team!!

We worked with The Art of Catering for our wedding celebration this month and were seriously impressed by both the service and the food. First of all, they were incredibly flexible in helping us design a menu. It was diverse and they nailed each dish. They were extremely adept at working with the rentals and left nothing to chance. The service on the day really shined. The servers were gracious and accommodating and we really felt they enjoyed the work. We would definitely recommend them for any event but they shine at weddings. Most importantly, they were able to pivot with the weather and saved the day when the first rain storm in months showed up the night before our wedding.
