Menu looked awesome, only 2 vegetarian options, they were okay. Tofu was described as “a sea of flavors” which I’m not sure is accurate but it was fine. The meat though- looked and smelled SO GOOD. I mean who goes to a Hawaiian restaurant for tofu anyways lol everyone else loved their food, big fans of the teriyaki chicken and the ribs. Most dishes came with a side of Mac salad and rice. My favorite Hawaiian restaurant in Portland. It’s worth driving from North Portland to John’s Landing to get there, since delivery services seem to muck up delivery from here. Kalua Pig is just like my traditional family recipe.

I thought the food had good flavor! The desserts did not taste like the flavors it claimed to be. It was just sweet! Lilikoi is tart and guava has a layered flavor that didn’t quite match. All in all glad I got to try it!
