Man - Becky at the Blue Diamond was a nice gal - however, that’s where the fun ended - ordered a scotch and it came with 11 complementary fruit flies ….next on the menu were the steak bites, which I ordered medium rare- from a distance not so bad - however the first “bite” I took was so tough after chewing for nearly 5 minutes I’d barely managed to get any meat to release itself / so I placed it carefully in the paper sack that my silverware had come in. At this point my jaw is exhausted from trying to break the steak chunks down - I’m thirsty but frightened to drink anything else, so I turn to the caprese salad - Good news, they compost, bad news, they were doing it in my caprese salad- my lettuce was halfway back to being part of the earth already - so I left hungry and a bit frightened. Too much for a Thursday night out with my daughter. I’ll eat another day -

Wonderful small place with food and drinks and great music. I had a really wonderful time and the bartenders are friendly. I've been there a couple times but only ordered food once. It was typical bar food, but tasty, well priced, and prompt despite a busy night with live music. The music is ALWAYS good. I hope to make a point to go back and check it out more often, they have weekly events and consistent features artists, all loaded with talent, and the venue is very comfortable and all the patrons are very pleasant.
