something has changed this winter. The gravy's/sauces are thin and saltier. The meats are not as tender. Whatever they were doing before swept us off our feet. 2024 however makes us want to stick to our local joints.

Besides pav bhaji..rest of the dishes were tasteless and expensive..maybe tailored to the local palate..definitely not for desis..Taj Indian Cuisine was actually better and more authentic..though it was just a food truck..

Great spot to explore indian flavors in Portland. They have a television playing Indian movies all the time and you are also surrounded by Indian decor across the restaurant and the restrooms as well.We got the chicken kathi roll, pav bhaji and the indian chai. The kathi roll was flavorful, good portion size and high quality and pav bhaji was decent as well.Highly recommend this spot which is also pretty reasonably priced as well!

Great vibe, ok food. Most of what I got lacked flavor. The Vhada pav didn’t live up to the hype. The complimentary chutneys were not tasty. The tali and mango lassi were really good though. Great refreshing ginger beverage with house made ginger syrup.

I HIGHLY RECOMMMEN VADA PAV!!Vada Pav here is by far the best I have ever had!! I might be forgetting, but I don’t remember having such a great vada pav even in India. I have been eating at least one vada pav every time I visit either of Bollywood Theater locations since 2019 and the taste has been consistently great. It has improved over time if anything at all. My wife loves Pav Bhaji also here. Other than Vada Pav, I recommend Paneer Kathi roll and chai! Excellent ambiance and amazing service.
The menu is pared down, but what they have is delicious Indian street food and seasonal specials. The roasted butternut squash was outstanding and you can't go wrong with the paneer makhani.
Best decor and atmosphere of any Indian restaurant . You need to order food the counter and gets delivered to you table. Roll and Fried Okra are the staple of this place. Rest of the food options are ok at best. If you are looking for authentic Indian food - look elsewhere. Decent Americanized Indian food. They also have a small shop with Indian spices and other Indian items.
I definitely found one of my favorite dinner spots when visiting Portland! The windows were open, which allowed the sunset to roll in. They had Indian movies playing on their TV. The decor inside was absolutely beautiful. I had the paneer makhani which was excellent. The entire vibe was cozy and relaxing. I will definitely be back.

This is NOT Indian food. It's an ATTEMPT at Indian cooking. It's very americanized, bland and not flavourful. The portion size is extremely small. If you are looking for authentic Indian food, please don't go to this place. :(
