Lovely staff and great coffee. I love their chai coffee in particular. I wish they were open longer on weekends as I might like to try a cocktail they apparently have the ability to make....but such drinks in the morning are not desirable and during weekdays they close at 5pm.

Been sleeping on this place for awhile but no longer! I love the modern and warm wooden interior they got going on. Plenty of seatings, great for a work spot. The staffs also have such a nice attitude and energy (big plus for an all-female team!) even during a busy morning. They got a great selection of espresso drinks, even ones I've never had before like a Cafe Marrochino. I enjoyed my double shot of espresso - nice and refreshing. They gave out a little piece of chocolate with your coffee too. Needless to say, I'll be back to work through their drinks menu and baked goods.

Cute little coffee shop near a sushi restaurant I was waiting for. I wanted to try something new and the staff suggested the coconut crème latte. It was spectacular ! I sat outside and enjoyed. It was a nice start to my afternoon visit to Portland

Stayed at The Porter. This is a 5 min walk and completely worth saving $20 compared to eating at the hotel cafe. We had breakfast sandwiches and they were really unique and delicious. The coffee was also really great too. Service and ambiance were fantastic. Highly recommend!

Cafe Umbria is an excellent cafe! The coffee is delicious and the pastries are amazing. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for a morning coffee or a relaxing afternoon break.
