30 minute wait just for the marguerita and no one else ordering. No apology for the wait. Food is one thing, 30 min for drinks is insane. Food and drinks here are not good enough for this wait. Said they were busy. There was no one else waiting for their food. Their marguerite's are mostly sour mix.

Happy hour highway robbery,I came into this location to specifically for happy hours 5pm on a Friday. I see that they do have a happy hour menu and options. While holding the happy hour menu and ordering, I place an order for 3 tacos and a bottled beer, which are all priced and listed on the happy hour menu. After being charged, I realized that they had charged me full price for all items, including the beer. I asked if it was currently happy hour, which they replied yes but you didn’t specify that you wanted to order happy hour tacos….. even while holding the small, easily indentified happy hour menu directly infront of the employee when ordering. When trying to get the order changed to the happy prices/ items or getting a refund, they informed me that they couldn’t do any of that and I have to call the main office to get a refund in 2-3 business days ( I called, no voicemail is set up, of course). So if you want some “happy hour” from Cha Cha Cha from 3-6 daily, just know you’ll have to specifically tell them that it’s happy hour (more work for the customer)…. Which seems to them to mean serving you smaller tacos and beer for less money…. Hell of a deal. What a joke, never again.

We ordered two burritos with carnitas for take-out. At first we thought there had been a mistake like they got the order wrong and forgot the carnitas. But actually worse than a mistake, half way through we found a minuscule amount of meat, less than an ounce! The amount of salsa and guacamole was also pathetically lean. These are $18.00 each! The whole thing was just tasteless rice and beans in a gummy flour tortilla. Never again!

I order food through Doordash here all the time but the last few times I've ordered have not been very good. I gave it another hopeful chance today and received my burrito bowl with NO cheese, pico, or crema. That is three things that are advertised with the meal that did not come with it for some reason? That doesn't seem fair when the meal is already pretty spendy.

A real gem on Thurman just down the block from 23rd. Food was delicious and staff kind. Warning: if you get the flight of margaritas make sure you have a designated driver.

I'm a mole head and enjoyed the nuanced flavors of Cha Cha Cha's mole. The service was great and the ambiance was simple

Unfortunately this is not Mexican food I'd recommend. The house burrito I got was one of the least flavorful and substantial burritos I've had, but I had nearly $19 for it after service fee and tip for take out. I wish it had been better portioned for how much I paid, especially in comparison to how much you get from nearly every other Mexican restaurant in Portland. The service and dining space are all very nice, unfortunately the food is just not worth what is charged.Pictured: I substituted Spanish rice for beans. The guacamole, onions, and cilantro was very sparing, and the chicken when present was bland. I added the takin to give it some amount of flavor.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast before heading for Union Station. Definitely the BEST Breakfast Burrito I've had in a LONG time! The burrito was large and the price was very reasonable. Staff was super friendly and the time from ordering, to food hitting the table, was super quick. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a good breakfast burrito. The ONLY negative thing I could mention is that they didn't have coffee. Not sure if they don't serve it at all or just not have any while we were there. I saw some local people walk IN with a coffe already in hand and order a breakfast burrito to eat IN the restaurant. So it seems like they're ok with customers bringing in their own coffee.Just an FYI if not having coffee available is a deal breaker.Awesome food, good prices, friendly staff, quick service... 8/10 (would be 9/10 if they had coffee with breakfast?)

Order at the counter spot. Tacos were yummy and the ambiance is cute inside. They close so early though which is a bummer. 8 pm on a Friday night! Staff was cleaning up around us at like 8:10 while we were still eating. Guess we need to come earlier next time.

My daughter and I had brunch here today and we were so pleased with the food and service. It's a cute little place with tables outside, which is where we chose to sit - enjoying what is probably the last of the warm sun here in Oregon. They serve outside, too. The food was amazing, quite spicy but not burn your mouth spicy, you could still taste all the wonderful seasoning and sauce. I had the brunch omelet with birria and it was topped with fresh, thick, guacamole, sour cream, and included lightly pickled cucumbers, carrots, potatoes and jalapeno slices, as well as a side of frijoles.

Don't ask for chilaquiles. As Mexican I can tell you that chilaquiles is not what people in Portland make. It doesn't come with lettuce, potatos, carrots, and with slices of chile. God no. Chilaquiles is just fried tortilla (totopos) with a great salsa verde or roja, sour cream, and chopped onions... this place doesn't know how to make chilaquiles: chilaquiles are not a salad. If you ask for them remember I told you not to do it. I don't know the rest of the food, but chilaquiles are bad as hell.

I ordered carne asada burrito and I got a rice burrito. There’s literally maybe 5 pieces of meat in the burrito n the rest is rice. Paid $20 for rice. Food has no taste or flavor. Burrito wasnt wraped like you’re supposed to wrap a burrito. One bite, and the whole burrito busted open. They can do better.
