This place is legit. The chicken was flavorful, the roasted potatoes were excellent. Moist inside and crunchy outside. The cilantro line ahi sauce was delicious as well. I paired it with a beer from their neighbor. I got the 1/2 bird, definitely stuffed and would share with someone. Absolutely would come here again. Well done!

Visiting Portland from Orlando FL, this has been our best meal of the trip. Don’t pass this up just because of the simplistic menu - the chicken is FANTASTIC, so crispy, perfectly cooked, and flavorful. The potatoes - perfectly crispy. And you get a good amount of food for the quarter bird (we got three pieces including a leg). Chimichurri sauce on the side really made it too. Vibe and seating at Cartopia was perfect too! Would definitely recommend!!!

I heard good things about the food here. When I came in, the guy working was preparing an order. I read the menu and was waiting for him to acknowledge I was there. He ignored me for 10 mins. When I said “hello”, he cut me off and said he wouldn’t take my order. I wanted to ask him a question, he cut me off and said he couldn’t talk as he was busy. Unfortunately, the guy must have been not happy or he didn’t like people as there was obvious lack of customer service. If you’re not happy with your job or if you don’t like people, then you’re in the wrong business. Do better.

Chicken And Guns is no joke. I will def come back to this pod specifically for this chicken. The sauces are fire and the simplicity yet care put into the food is ever present. The chicken is an experience and tastes amazing, without the sauce. The "guns" are just broken, deep fried chunks of potato and they're delicious. Even the pickled onions were fire. Worth the trip over the bridge, for sure.
